I have played for over 60 years and was impressed of the quality of an inexpensive, bang for the buck, 50s Classic Vibe Strat so I bought one. If you think the pickups are a little bright, try a .033 uf tone capacitor before the expense of changing pickups.

I think I have that same guitar. Is it the one with the fat 50’s pickups? Mine is a a 60th anniversary, maybe just an anniversary American and not 50s model don’t remember for sure…not crazy about the fat 50’s pickups but they’re okay. Gotta raise my action though, maybe I’ll do that today. Rock on man!

Cute gig bag. Mine. (2018) had a real Martin case. Had to be set up. Nut slots not deep enough, saddle too high, truss rod needed adjustment.

HI! I am an avid guitarist and I love Martin guitars and I was wondering: What is the difference between a Martin D42 and a Martin D45?? Apart from the abalano inlays, what are the construction differences? Is the D45 superior for materials, wood, bracing and everything else??
