Harley 4 inch combination speedo and tach
Just picked this up for my 2006 dyna, will also work for any 4 inch speedo mount. Couldn't find a vid so I made my own. Over 600 color combos available, each color fades to the next through about 25 adjustments. Dial, display, and needle can each have their own color. Also has two trip odometers, clock, fuel gauge, and gear selector on specific bikes.

Quick vid of how the pro Matic 2 works. I couldn't find a good video, so I made this one.
These shifters pro matic 2 are JUNK!
Were you get the speedo bro?
WOW! times have changed. we have now learned how to shift a AUTOMATIC
Mike Anderson been around forever
How do you calibrate the milage
David Weber not needed. Feeds direct from the computer
@@30OTTE6 what about on a 05 sportster custom
David Weber unsure. You’d need to have a computer running the gauge. Might be for 06- later
I have a 15 Street BOB FXDB, how can I change the colors? can it be done from the steer controls or do I have to dismount?
Raul Dario just put this on my 16 FXDB. You can change the colors using the turn signals
im still lost
So it's sort of like the idea of triptronic just not full auto ever?
leae it in D or 3rd like he said, and itll shift itself, or you can pull it down and ratchet shift it manually. it wont let you slam all the way into reverse or park.
had one of these in my 86 5.0.... god I miss that car lol
Benzino Coleone that's a ford fairmont right there, 1979. Fox body FTW
Benzino Coleone i wish mine shifted like this. seems to catch alot or get stuck. then coming out of first it wont shift up sometimes. looks like im gonna have to do some more digging
Brent Ridings sounds like a cable tension issue at the trans, I had to mess with mine a lot to make it work well
TripleB99 I took my cover off just now, the whole mechanism is pretty dry. Supposed to be like that? Or should I disassemble and grease the joints?
Brent Ridings there should be some grease on the friction points, but you'll need to make sure the fitment of the cable on the trans is good too
I am so glad you made this video..I have been wondering about this shifter for a long time. Now I only need to see how to fit it in my stock console without cutting it up. Any thoughts? My car is a 67 Coronet 500.
You might be able to, don't know about keeping your stock console though... some fitment issues are sure to arise.
+TripleB99 i already have done this. mine fits perfectly in my factory console. a little cutting was needed but only on the inside. you cannot see any difference to the console between the hurst and the stock shifter.
Just got a new 883 and it has this on it. How do I change the colors?
+Larry Weiser Instructions are in the box, simple
TripleB99 dumbass...he said he just bought the motorcycle and probably doesn't have instructions
How long should it take to install the speedo and fuel sensor kit? Harley is saying 2 1/2 hours for $250
+samantha Campana Its pretty easy, if you are able to not wreck anything and use simple tools, you can change it yourself. Be nice to the plug it will come undone eventually.
Can you accidentally over shift shift into neutral ? say on 2-3 shift go 2 - N ? This looks idiot proof other wise.
Tony Travers No. if you shift into 3rd.. you CAN go into Nuetral from 3rd after letting the shifter return to the resting position... but you can't go past 3rd into nuetral accidently.
Useful, thanks :)
What company. Makes the speedo?

I bought a car with this type of shifter. it has a turbo 350 transmission. it'll shift from neutral to third gear, but it will not downshift any...note that the ratcheting works, but the transmission will not go from 3rd to 2nd gear and 2nd gear to 1st gear. I can only run it in "D" or 3rd gear. Do you have any recommendations in regards to troubleshooting to get it to downshift? Thanks.
Ps: Good video, when I was searching (back in 200*) there was nothing on You Tube. As you can tell by the video, it's second nature and some serious fun behind a well built transmission. Instant shifts with zero risk of over-shifting resulting damage.
This particular model won't (3838500). That's a 3-speed (TF727, TH400, etc). I run a Carl Rossler built racing 4L80E and use a Hurst Pro-Matic 2 in my SRT/10 Ram. The 4-Speed version you require is Hurst Part # 3838511 but they are hard to find. Also, a shift kit won't give you a hard shift, it'll give you a sightly crisper shift. A good valve body, HD Kevlar rear bands, sprag kit, HD bands, pump, converter, etc, all those combined will give you neck snapping shifts. Good luck and have fun!
Thanks for the vid it was clear and understandable. Quick question I have a a 4L60E will it work with it? And yes im putting a shift kit for quick shifts and stay on 1st as long as you want :)
