Is the 600R engine smoother than the 850 and is there a noticeable difference in fuel consumption?

I would have bought this instead of the 850 the first year out in 2022. Not that I don’t LOVE the 850, but don’t really need it where, and how I ride.

Nice looking sled, my first brand new snowmobile was a 1988 Yamaha phazer,got it for $3500 otd and was so much fun, so light you could throw it around like nothing. If Yamaha would make a sled like the srx with a 650 to 850 two stroke in it i would still be riding Yamaha to this day. Love the light playful response from a two stroke.

They make a tool to remove the pins so you don’t have to beat on the Torx screw. The tool is 15 bucks

My snow '10 pro 500 was louder as well even tho it was stock, especially riding next to it. Stock was loud enough that the cops on trail thought I had a can on it, so another sp500 likeness

The 129's are uncoupled. It's a note worthy change. Cat doesn't really point it out on there website.

I guess we will have to wait for the first buyers in 2024 to actually see how it performs, seeing how every review of the Catalyst is an ambassador for AARP talking about push button controls and center of mass...

That's one of the best reviews of all time, even though I do not prefer Arctic cat!

It's better then the Polaris and Ski-Doo chassis. The belt drive and progressive steering make the others look a little outdated.

I’m not gonna lie 2003 was a big year for new models that didn’t have the bugs worked out.

Pretty sure its only the same weight as the non-turbo only if the non-turbo had traditional e-start (this turbo has SHOT so kind of e-start).
