Well, I looked at the study, and they used many times the amount of safrole in the mice than the mice would normally ingest. As usual, with most of these types of studies. So, utilizing sassafras in small amounts for healing, or cooking would probably not come near what the toxic amounts were.

@@afterschok6627 Hello. You know I actually feel guilty for feeling so disheartening in the aftermath having witnessed first hand the pain and fear of so many people around me. My focus to help people get to a better state of mind and line them up with services to make them whole as I am able was my focus. Then when the dust settled I fell into a PTSD rabbit hole with memories of the aftermath of war crimes i witnessed flooding me useless. I was my own worst enemy. When I went to the mountains I honestly had no intentions of coming out. When I got within a mile of my jump off point a warm feeling came over me and I was suddenly at peace with the world. Everything I could see was crisper and vibrant. I began to speak to the tree's and plant life as if they understood me. I knew I wasn't crazy as everything seemed clear as bell and the flow of energy was incredible. It took me three days of hiking near straight up to get where I was. I was surrounded by the warm presents of God. I cannot tell you how I knew the answers to all my questions before I had a chance to speak them out loud but I did. I wandered about into places off the path I knew as if guided by someone who knew the way. This spirit guide showed me wonderful visions of animal life from a different perspective. The path was easier to navigate and although it took 6 days to get to the bottom when I got there and seen the first signs of people I knew I needed to come home. I'm still undecided about rebuilding the farm. I know now I will be guided which direction to go in time. Until then I am rebuilding the 1800's log cabin along the creek and planted a garden.

Yes, both types are legal to grow. I am wondering (I haven't looked into it) if the other type will be as hard to find seeds for as hemp seeds were.
