What the hell? Such a good song in Eurovision? Greece for winner 2025

Thank you that there is someone showing enthusiasm about MGP this year. It's been way too much negative considering we've actually only heard 20 seconds of each song! It's silly to rank songs based on a small snippet, and in any case to write off an entire competition just on that.

This could do as good as Luktelk from last year in my opinion

How anyone can think MGP 2025 sounds amazing needs a serious reality check. Not a single one of the clips we’ve heard stands any chance of qualifying for a Eurovision final. This has to be the worst song selection in MGP history. If the main goal is to create a great MGP TV show rather than finding songs that can win Eurovision, then MGP has completely missed the point.

The only song I can imagine enjoying on the Eurovision stage : Hot as hell in paradise, I think the rest will drown

I'm suprised that there are people who are actually happy with what we've seen from this mpg so far to be honest. 9 songs is such a downgrade from the amount we've had in previous years, and 8 out of these 9 are basically just some form or another of pop. No variety at all. Add to that the fact that all 9 songs are in English with no Norwegian to be found anywhere and it all starts to feel even more samey. And sure, having returnees is fun and all, but if you basically bring 0 new blood in at all, you're basically guaranteeing yourself to get stuck in the past. In the end we will see how this turns out, but my excitement for mgp this year is basically 0, and I don't think norway has much of a chance to qualify. which is a real shame

I really like how, as you said, open the field is right now. Depending on the staging and live vocals, I could see any of the songs (except _maybe_ Sekaisin) take it in February. And like you also said, any of them would be "Eurovision worthy" so it doesn't matter that much what the end result will be (though at the moment Made Of and Ich Komme are probably my personal faves). That being said, I think Erika and OML are the front runners at the moment, and anyone else has to do really well live, comparatively, if they want to win. Really looking forward to the final!

I don't think such a good song can never be forgettable at Eurovision! Songs like this have often ended up in top 10 in Eurovision final, to be honest. And this would be a jury favourite.
