Hi, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the stitch. Do you mean when you add the little stitch to catch the loop down? It might be easiest if you send me a video of when the stitch is going wrong. You do need to pull really gently when you catch the loop part down to help it keep it's shape. You can use your needle to adjust it. Hi, I haven't tried it, but you would definitely need to do a test first on a scrap piece to see if the carbon only comes off where you press the pencil it whether it stains the fabric in other places. Let me know if you try it how it comes out. : )

Hi, It might, it will just be a challenge to keep the fabric taught while you do it. I would recommend taping the fabric over a printed out version of the design and taping both to a sunny window and trying to transfer that way if you can do it without damaging the fabric. xx

Hi, sorry for the confusion! You can do it either way the main thing is to keep the spokes or arms of the wheel at even intervals so the weaving is even.

Hi, Your'e welcome! Yes you can fill spaces with Split Stitch in rows. If it's a big space I would recommend 2 strands of thread. Long and short stitch is a little different as you don't split the stitch but it can also be used to fill small spaces.

Hi, You may have pulled it though too hard. It does take a bit of practice, so don't give up! Try looping the thread around your needle twice and then make sure you keep the thread on the surface taught while pulling the needle back through the fabric gently. Just ease it through releasing the tension a bit at a time, then let go right at the last minute. If you want to message me on the contact page of my website I'm happy to help further. Julia xx
