Just another day on the hill. No reason to watch this one. Be assured...This is not something the average snowboard enthusiast would probably be in to.

The south face was perfectly reset and the weather was phenomenal. We took the long trek from Kokusai across Mt. Asari and over to one of the most impressive mountains in Hokkaido, Yoichidake. Managed a couple of runs and they were great.

It was great. Best of this season!! The title in the video claims this is 2024. It is, in fact, 2025. My apologies for the typographical error.

A day in central Hokkaido.

Great chicken, bad weather.

The weather didn't look good, so we took a short trip to a short hill to assess the snow condition for future riding. The snowfall is too little to really say the season is officially in. We'll check back next week. Meanwhile, groomers.

First climb of 2025 was done in fabulous weather and with great company. My first time up this mountain in any season. the snow was great and I hope to be back here again this season and in the future as well. It was soooo fun.

December 28, 2024 Backcountry Hokkaido

Day 2 of the 2024 and 2025 season. The weather was great and the snow pack has improved.

Snowfall has begun in Hokkaido as usual. Forecasts are calling for snow and all signs are pointing to a normal start to the season. Merry New Year to you and your kin.

The weather was fine and so instead of relaxing and enjoying the coming warm weather of spring, a friend and I decided to risk it all and climb the highest mountain in South Hokkaido. It is by far the most stunning mouintain I have ever climbed. This time we rode into the crater and did the full tour of 羊蹄山 Mt. Yotei. #北海道 #hokkaido #backcountry #バックカントリー #スノーボード
