I have returned the uber rental to Avis. My story is crazy. I wasn’t making enough money to pay the rent on time. Avis was not calling me for 3 weeks but kept trying to charge my card $362 on several times. The bank declined for not enough funds. I called them to say I shall pay later I am waiting to borrow money from my friend. After 3 weeks I receive a text message from Avis loss and prevention team commanding me to return the car before they start legal actions. I did return the car and at the desk I saw a notification on my phone that Avis tried to charge my card for $2800. The bank declined the transaction ! The 4 weeks rental that I owed them was 4x$362. The rep at the counter told me that it is computer generated and he couldn’t help me ! Then I managed to get ahold of the billing department over the phone and they suggested me to send a claim by email to adjust the bill. ( apparently they charged me $1500 for late fees, for repo and towing that never hapened !!!) the contract is telling that they will charge reasonable fee of 1,5% of the amount owed ! But the worse part of it is that my bank cleared the transaction for $2800 on the next day ! I called the bank to rant that they were not able to approve an overdraft for $362 rental and now they approved a $2800 overdraft for a bogus abusive billing practice ! I told the bank I am not paying and I don’t care if they ruin my credit ! I have no job I am broke and the bank knows that my credit cards are maxed out ! I think the bank is in conspiracy with Avis uber rental !

You had stated about using a reference and mentioned later is too late. So, it would be inappropriate to present this information later? I also worked at the Delta ticket counter a few years ago, but when I called Delta they have no record of my working at Delta, so I clicked that I never worked for them. The only proof I have is my uniform and name tag.

Be aware that the odds of getting hired are very low. Even getting invited to interview in person is difficult, and must people who go to that do not get offers. So apply, but don't get your hopes up. It's extremely difficult to be hired. Maybe 1% of those who apply get hired. If you really want to be a FA you should apply to more than one airline imho.

Get ready to work 100 hours a week to make a profit.this program is just for folks that need transportation,can use the app as a part time (flexible)but just have to have a second job,until you can get out of the spiral

Hello! I would love to work as a flight attended but there are several things I'd like to ask you. Right now I'm 20 years and have high functioning autism. I have a year and a halfs worth of servace experience. Can I become a flight attendant? My dream is to travel the world and I just want to be helpful and be able to serve and the benifits and whatnot. Do I have to go to flight attendent school? Thank you!

You look like a young guy and you're doing good pretty good video about just getting to the facts. But people definitely need to look into insurance. Typically on a personal rental not used for Uber if you deny the coverage your own car insurance applies. That means if you have $1,000 deductible then you're paying $1,000 deductible to get the car rental fixed. Being that you're specifically using the car for commercial use/UBER your policy Will not cover it. It would be instantly denied in any accident. So you would be responsible for the entire cost of anything that happened to that vehicle. To give a heads up usually these days just a single plastic bumper cost over $2,500 to fix. Uber and the rental companies shouldn't be making it so mysterious. They should be explaining this to people that come up and give them the options. And I hate to say it but they're really shouldn't be an option to drive the rental without insurance.

Yes: *_BUT YOU MUST HAVE AN EXIT STRATEGY_* If you can rent a car and hustle 6 days a week, get your butt up at 5am and hit the road, it's worth it. *_DO NOT RENT AN EV_* Once you've saved up $10k buy a used Nissan Altima 8-10 years old. *_BUY IT CASH_* and then you have a beater you're not emotionally attached to that you can use just for Uber/Lyft 39mph highway 27mpg city. Once you age out, make sure to sell the beater and get a new one. Same car. If you want to pay more, get a Camry Hybrid.... These two cars only. Charging takes too long and time is money. I made $1650/wk clocked $32/hr 10hrs out (including waiting for fast charging) with a 2023 Chevy Bolt Rental costing $350/wk. If I didn't have to sit for 2 hours per shift to charge it i'd have made more.

Full-time meaning driving people 40 hrs

When I worked at a technology company more than a decade ago, whenever we deploy software updates, we first install it at our customer site on several test stations that is running the exact same software as the live version. Once everything runs and a suite of tests passes, then we update the live system. Any problems or hiccups will delay the software updates until it gets fixed. It is to prevent issues like this. I feel for all people affected by the delayed and cancelled flights. On another note, I haven't seen too many flight attendants sharing their thoughts and experiences, so it is wonderful to hear from you. Great presentation. Cheers.

Not sure I understand how RENTING a vehicle for $1200-1400/mo is more cost effective or advantageous than financing a car traditionally for $400/mo?

mine went from $356 a week to $424 for a comfort car I lost money and took it back and the final bill was $1300
