I have the entire series on VHS tape. Lightning Heart is one of my favorite songs from this show. It gives me an eerie feeling every time I listen to this song, I guess that's because this song calls to me. MIKU FOREVER!

Holy shit! When I first read this, I was like, "This person is a fucking liar!" and then I looked at the credits. I watched Galaxy Fraulein Yuna when I was a kid, now I've watched the Monogatari series. Weird.
I went to go look this up and you are right. Who would have thought the director of one of my childhood favorite anime would also direct Madoka Magica.

Yuna Returns is what introduced me to anime when I was in elementary, I'm a junior in college now and my life would be different if it weren't for this, there will be no other anime like it, as Evangelion, Rahxephon, and Escacflowne
Escaflowne, yes!!! I LOVE that anime!! The series especially, but the AU movie was lovely, as well. And NOTHING compares to Yoko Kanno's gorgeous orchestrations!! Utter bliss..! 😭💕 Arcadia is my favourite of all her compositions (and it is SO difficult to choose, among so many!) Inner Universe, too! 🕊🎼

This is on my top favorite list of anime's. It has been since I got it. I wish this opening had a textless version, because I love the animation sequences, and would love to see it without text all over it. This show is awesome, and way under loved. :(

Yuna needs to make a comeback into the 21st century. It was the modern Sailor Moon xD. Plus it combines two of my favorites, cute girls and battle armor.
You are indeed right. Which is why back in December 2019, I came up with an idea of rebooting the franchise. Having it become a TV series once I find a way to become an anime director. Having season one be based on the first video game, season two be based on the second video game, season three would be an anime filler, season four be based on the anime OVA's which in the two episodes of Siren's Sadness, the length of the episodes are 33 minutes. So for the TV episodes, they'll be a four part episode. Next is a five episode involving the return of an enemy from the previous season with dangerous robots, after that is a Christmas episode, and after that is Warth of the Dark Sisters. And just like Siren's Sadness, the length is 33 minutes, so the TV version will be a six part episode. Next, season five will be based on the third video game and season six will be another anime filler to end it epic, which I believe there was suppose to be a fourth video game, but it didn't get made due to budget issues and mistakes in the third video game. The TV series will have new characters and some changes from the OVA's.
