I loved reading and writing for the first 11 years of my life to the point where I had my entire life planned out with one of my friends to become authors. Then middle school decided to show up and FUCK it up! Days of my life were wasted to stupid essays and how to structure them and how to infuse a writing with a moral and motifs. I no longer felt like I could write a story to parallel other authors and I gave up. I started doing other things and before I knew it, I stopped reading as well.
