I'm far better at games on the console just to warn ya, yeah I'm a controller noob lol. Been playing Halo since combat evolved so I'm kinda stuck in that controller mentality, but I do from time to time have good games on the battlefields for PC. I used to be a run and gun sniper like everyone else, now I have put tactics over quick shots and the results are astounding. Watch as I out fox em!

Putting an 80cc kit on this Classic Schwinn I bought for 25$
I scored this classic Sierra for real cheap, and scored a cheap chinese engine kit from www.ebay.com/itm/186009800223 autoooparts sold me a great kit, and I highly recommend business with them.
These are some of my practices while building these bikes. this is a simple stock kit from the box, with a couple remedies for adapting to my bike frame. It's common to have to make small mods on most bike kits.

Just another small personal blog, finally letting my old work out machine go to the scrap yard. Video starts out with a ride up to my job. Not the most interesting video, but something I wanted to talk about, I am sure my real life friends will like to take the ride with me though.

My year ended, and the new one started, with a disaster. Here's my journey's beginning. The escort suffered a random valve seat failure. Odessa cylinder heads, cut corners on me and sold me a problem. 17,800 miles, 2 years, one vacation. and she failed on me. All I can say is thank god it didn't happen when I was in Arizona!

Another cover, As the title says. Many people grew up with Tom Petty's music, I was no different. Here's to you Tom, thanks for all the songs. I had some friends wondering about the sound so I included a small screen cap there of what I did. Quite simple, just a touch of reverb from my video editor. The camera is basic, the mic is basic, the guitar and myself are unplugged. This is one micro st...

Work is already under way for my daily driver, 1997 ford escort with a fresh head, only managed to get 17,800 before it dropped a seat. While heading to a holiday party on the 17th of december, just fresh off leaving the freeway my escort dropped a seat, at an idle. Heat tab still in tact, no boiling coolant, just straight up failure because the head company I bought from employed cheap valve s...

Stef van Itterzon builds brand new Zundapp engines on a cnc milling machine watch his video Mike its cool there are quite a few good videos now on youtube I am finding all these great repro shops mostly in the Netherlands between Rotterdam and Hague exactly centered on the map but its all on my facebook pages
Hey just wondering where you're buying all your Zundapp Parts ? is it all Mail order from the Netherlands ???
Ebay, there was a shop "cyclesavant" that happened to have a bunch of Nos stuff from the old days. Some items wrapped in original packaging even. not sure what he still has now. occasionally I find some off thing on google search, but most of it was from ebay.
www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_ssn=cyclesavant&_trksid=p4432023.m570.l50838 here's a link to his shop. He deals in a lot of new old stock odd ball bike parts.
I wish we had all this information and videos back in 1970 or so it would have really helped all of us struggling with these old bikes and nobody anywhere in the USA that knew how to work on them
yes this is the nightmare from hell with all those roller bearings 19 of them in all ok . I wonder if this guy is from upstate new york and had a metice zundapp for sale???
I'm from Washington, mine was found in a barn, dead. I got it for free, but put more in to it than she's probably worth lol. Yeah my trick was using magnets to get the weird roller pin bearings to stay put, as well as those funky ball locking bearings. Trouble is with those free little pin bearings is they can wear funny, and I found I didn't much like the way mine were wearing last time I looked in there. A regular bearing race would be so much better. if the bike ever has a fail, and survives it, that's what I'd likely put back in their place.
is that the shaht with all the holes in it that has those 50 little roller bearings around a race that all fall out when you pull the shaft out My 1965 KS-100 had the same set up not sure if somebody did not upgrade that and remove and replace that lousy design with a solid 1 piece roller bearing for that shaft if anybody knows that would be appreciated they never should have used that 50 separate rollers that came out of the race
indeed it was, I used magnets to keep them in place because yeah it's a terrible design. The bike still runs to this day for now. But that transmission is one scary sounding little thing. And I never did get it to shift strong. I can find all the gears but it's a dance cause no matter where I tune the "shift bell" for the drum shaft, it doesn;t seem to limit the kick enough. Bike seems to shift past gears most of the time.
There is a guy in the Netherlands that builds brand new engines it's on you tube
@@luckyfreeman5079 Sounds like something mine could use at least the transmission anyway. Compression wise my engine's gained a few pounds. I did a compression test a week or so back and it was hovering just over 140lbs. When I first completed this, it was only 120~.
dude that hair looks just like Stewart from mad tv🤣
no doubt, believe me going through editing and such I was annoyed by that. Just didn't feel like retaking it though.
Walk of shame, eh?!
Awesome video. I love my motorized bike and its the most fun ever! I love riding half throttle just enjoying it. Thanks for the video! 🤙🏼
I like the bridge. Great video, man, subbed. Thanks for sharing.
So much fun I dont know if its legal.
lol, every time I ride I think that. These things are so simple and cheap once you get the hang of it fixing and installing and all that it's really neat and easy to keep them going, at least so far for me that's the case anyway.
Thanks for sharing I like seeing ppl into the hobby ride safe out there
will do, and thanks for watching. Glad someone found some of this informative.
i would think that your pants getting caught is what started the problem.. the sudden stop jarred the crank
It's possible, but the other thing is I did ride it for about 2 miles after that incident and it wasn't until that one moment of reving up, that it finally went. granted I've revved out a couple times in the past, but now we're sitting in the 500~ mile range on this one, and they do vibrate a decent amount in general. I've actually lost case cover screws from vibration before even after making passes to make sure they were tight.. But yeah it's possible. All I know is it's back to working thankfully.
First time seeing your channel and I dig it! Curious, what’s the brand name of that motor, I would like to get one and try this out? Another question for ya, I see you have a 10 speed in there, are you able to change gears on that bike with the motor on there and if so roughly how fast can you get that sucker up to?
Most of these don't have a brand name, basically just goes by 80cc bike engine kit, Ebay is where I found mine. www.ebay.com/itm/124502549335 this is the listing I went through for the 80cc. There is also a 100cc, but honestly having bought both, I'd recommend the 80 over the 100. The 100, is touchy and doesn't run as smooth, I think that's cause it's timed the same as the 80, but requires a tweak, and that magneto set up has no such adjustment, so it becomes a custom job to get it to run right. So my 10 speed's gears operate on the pedal side, the motor has it's own chain. it operates separately from the pedal chain, however you can pedal with the engine on to assist it. There does exist a full conversion jack shaft kit to pipe the motor in to the bike gear set up but then it relies fully on the engine if you do the conversion. heh better have a good reliable set up for that. As for speed, I have had that 10 speed up to 35mph with the engine. and it gets there fairly fast enough. I hope this comment helps, I definitely recommend playing with one of these kits. really fun once you get them going. Hope this comment helps.
Why you get a real machine instead of a kitty's toy?

can i buy the Zundapp engine from you ?
The mine you're calling the Philo is the New Discovery mine. Philo is down toward the the end of the gulch to the left as you look into the N D. Philo has a water fall cascading over it for a good part of the summer. Kind of a neat mine to explore.
The difficult location of the galena was one of the reasons it didn't pencil out. The mining infrastructure was destroyed each winter and had to be rebuilt. Those were mighty men back in the day.
I live there!!
you should go to the stone house and that hill that you where on is called coal hill
Yust use some grease.
Thanks for sharing your trip! I’m old and broken down so this is now the only way for me to see it. My wife and I were up to the townsite about 30 years ago. There were a few folks living there and you could hear the pelton wheel in the powerhouse whining from quite a distance. As I recall it was shortly after our visit that a bridge washed out and ended living up there. What a shame. We did also see the huge concentrator building, or what was left at that time as well. Again, thanks for sharing.

It's funny that this part of the reassembly is so popular to the algorithm. Thanks for the info, I did get the bike together, it still has some issues but as far as the clutch is concerned I got through that. I have some later video's featuring it moving under it's own power, though there's some roughness to it. I didn't have a perfect set of new parts so that's just how it goes.
Not sure about those pipes in the states, but here in Taiwan, pipes for electric wires are thinner than ones for liquid. So, whoever got this issue and sees this comment, you might it a try and save you some time.
Its a awesome engine. Can you explain how this transmission gear shift when drive and how it work? Because it wasnt similar in any motorcycle transmission on this day
Basically, instead of forks moving gears in and out of drive, the gears are all in constant mesh, and the ratio is selected by a cam lobe that slides in and out of that hollow shaft. When the lobe is in line with a gear it forces these ball bearings into the gear and that is how the gear is selected. It's known as an Expanding Ball, or Ball-lock, transmission. They aren't common, but in the early days of motocross, the smaller cc engines could get away with a design like this, bigger cc engines would devastate the ball locks.
@@michaeltolomei6623 thank you bro. You exlpain it well. I always searching entire in internet but didnt get the sarisfying answer.. This transmission is awesome. A hightech from past time that give little cc engine run like a jetplane.
Check the fuel level! If parts needed for Bing, contact me via Kradwerk-Pfalz here on RUclips, probably I can help
I love this type of jungle environment
It worked thank you
Bruh wtf, that's shit worked!!!
You cant Exchange Single case halfes!!!!!!!!!! Because the Final machining is done to two cases clamped togehther! Only the cases with the Same number fit together correclty. Only change both cases at once if Not the Shafts will not sit correctly and it runs rough also the bearings get destroyt
it already didn't work out, the bearing seat on the main was not the same size diameter because the case was for a different year. I ended up having to re-machine the original case and repair the busted pin, which I think I covered in one of the later videos.
Michael Tolomei Yes I saw that I am from Germany I rebuild a lot of these and I have never seen something like that work Perfectly well 😬 always caused some type of problems
@@metalwarrior6683 The Trouble's been getting all the parts. The manual is not always correct either, I have run into occasional translation issues. Not all of the tooling is available here either for end play adjustments. The bike was heavily mistreated when I got it. The first years of me working on it were not something I had filmed, but if you had seen the shape it was in, you'd have figured there's no way it was even worth attempting. Several problems I am still to this day having with it, are getting it to run leaner, no matter the jets, no matter the adjustment, she smokes bad. No matter the mix of fuel, it seems to smoke too, I am running at 40:1 and still she spooges out of the exhaust. The cyllinder has a slight head leak at times, despite having it machined, and running a copper crush gasket, I occasionally see bubbles, so I don't really ride it. Just start it for a couple minutes to keep the seals in use. The other major problem is the exhaust pipe, it's so rotten, and I keep having it brazed and welded shut, but pin holes re-appear. And I believe this and the head are the main reasons I can't get the bike to behave much. Also the shifting is very weird, I am not sure that I solved it's problem. It seems that you can shift past each gear into a neutral space. It's like there's a neutral between every gear. I know the bell nut is supposed to dictate the gear's actually grabbing, but no matter the adjustment, it's like I have to play a game of finding the gear. Eventually I can find it, but it's definitely not working correctly. Maybe you have some insight on this issue? my manual is not very helpful, it just explains by turns where the bell should be, but it seems to act no different than any other setting if that makes sense. In order to get it into gear, I have to do half shifts, and listen for the cam to actually send the balls into their locks. And of course it sounds slightly rough when it's running.
Thats normal that you have a neutral between the gearts its an adjustment thing its caused by the geometry of the shifting wedge. On my Hercules bikes with a Sachs Motor its the same. Exaust pipes are rally available here in Germany. And the copper gaskets never workt for me Original the must be something like a carbon fiber one thats quite thick with a Aluminium ring in it. here in germany its no Problem to get these parts but i dont know how available they are where you live
Yo keep this place not busy with Seattle fools. Take the name off
