We are not born good. We _have_ goodness in us. Please do not call people monsters, unless they let the wickedness inside of them take over the goodness that's inside of them. Because the TRUTH is, we must live in balance. We are not to shun or try to get rid of the wickedness in us. We are to recognize it, accept that it is there, has always been there, and will always be there, and try to create an equilibrium within ourselves. I think all who are good are good, but we are all sinners, not one of us have ever not sinned, there is only one who never sinned and that was Jesus, and he didn't do that to get to heaven, he did that so that you and I could have a direct link to God. Nobody is made a monster, people become monsters, nobody is sinless, we were MADE sinful, because even sin and the devil God did make, but we forget that God designed everything, every hair ever scratch every thought emotion or feeling, be it good or bad. God made it all, the Lord had done what he done so that we can 1.forgive ourselves and others and learn and live out LOVE, 2. So that we can ask with dignity what we need want and desire from God, without feeling like a little bag of blackness, because we all make mistakes, and self forgiveness is not a quality we all innately possess, and if you do, know you have a form of treasure already. Religion or the bible, is a tool, it is in my humble opinion, a man made construct, yes it may very well have a purpose for us and be here by design, but beware of the leaven of the pharisees and saducees.
