These places are a scam. Sending your kids to strange government programs with weird peke running them and extreme drug addicts attending them, makes your kid way worse. Just because you failed as a parent and we're probably selfish and regretted having kids thus ignoring your kid and treating him badly, well now your consequences are the teen acts up in frustration for being wronged and dealt a bad hand. And instead of correcting yourself and your family and becoming a better parent, YOU SHIP THEM OFF to these places fill with criminals, delinquents, perverts, and drug addicts? Minnesota makes a ton of money from these "sober" school and programs. But in reality, they are traumatic for the child to be ripped out of his friend circle and school and locked up in a place where he has no freedoms. Then you have adult telling him he's a drug addict, Like when I was 14 I smoked weed once. But they were telling me I was JUST AS BAD as the 17 year old who did heroin everyday, or the 16 year old girl who did meth everyday and got pregnant by her dad. These programs are sick wastes of money and only serve as a way for idiots who spent $150,000 on their college to major in psychiatry (a psuedoscience) to give them jobs and busy work dealing with the scourges of society. It's fine on the face of it, but it turns a young 14 year old who tried weed once with his buddies into someone who made connections to meth and heroin in his adult life. Plus, these programs only have a 10% success rate. Do not send your kid to these places. 13 year old boys should want boobies, pot and beer. That's juvenile and silly. It's only an issue when they use it to cope with feelings or start stealing pain meds.

Great to hear Roxanne talk about Project SUNRISE. She taught us at SUNRISE more than we helped her!
The needed change in the proposal is that the redemption needs to take place at any place that sells the beverages, just like the state of Michigan. Our system works well, and creates no extra emissions because you take them back every trip to the grocery store, and redeem them in 5 minutes prior to shopping.
The Republican Party, the new governor and both houses of the legislature in our beloved state are now doing their utmost to turn this state into one of the most ruthless states in the country. They should all be ashamed of themselves for this. They obviously don't give a damn about North Carolina or it's people, much less the people in this state who face the challenges of those in this video. Vote Democrat.
AWESOME VIDEO!
