I got 2 of them so on family night we can play all 8 of us it has become a game staple for family night just ordered two copies of block part of the expansion pack now.I'll just found out you have card sleeves and a playmat. I will be ordering those this week 200 card sleeves and at least 6 of those awesome playmats

Wow! U r giving up cubed! So difficult to get a copy! The game looks gorgeous but I guess everyone has different tastes when It comes to games. I’m a sucker for abstract games. This one for me would surely be a keeper.

I always enjoy watching Culling vids, gives me motivation to move games on that aren't getting played to homes that they will.

Wandering towers is the fifth or sixth most requested game we table. It’s a blast. Wet lovingly call confuse Cory as he forgets where he is all the time.

One small correction, on the passage of time track, you PAY the indicated number of seals to cross the spaces. Thanks for the overview of the expansion. I’m more interested in picking it up!

Hi Kristine, can I ask what you do with your culled games? Do you have a preferred way to sell or donate? And as I'm sure you've learned, an expansion will almost never make a game you didn't really like so much better that you'll want to play it. I've found expansions are only helpful for expanding (naturally) games I already really like, but sometimes that isn't even true, ha. And I've never heard of Sakura before. I'm guessing it's just more challenges in the same Dorf theme? Sort of like My Island to My City?

I really like Savernake Forest, but I also don't have quite so many games! I have Dorfromantik, but not enough space to play it much. Still looking to buy the Sakura version though, as I love that theme.

i also culled Savanake forest. May I ask what game replaces it for you?

You actually had 9 wood tiles rather than 8, if you include the starting one in the plant box. 😉

so do you use all the hexagon tiles from both games, or do you choose one set or the other? And only add the new cards and landmarks to the tiles? I am not sure how this works.

I have the first edition and love it, but I find the Attack cards a bit mean and don’t match the spirit of the game. Does the newer version still have Attack cards?

Some of my favorite new to me were Meeple Circus, Ra, Dracula vs Van Helsing and La Granja. Some of my favorite 2024 releases were Botanicus, Fairy Ring & The Gang.

is playing with all 4 expansions overwhelming? Are you able to remember all the rules and upkeep to everything? Is there a reason to start getting the stand-alone games as they release with just there slight alternate gimmicks? Just been on the fence of going all in or not at all. People say it's one of their favorite games, but there's so many devided opions on the entirety of the series.

they also have an official solo expansion on backerkit now ....but idk about the gameplay if it is interesting enough. It has a lot of contracts fulfilment i like, but the way of getting resources feels boring to me (same issue as Wild Garden)

Harmonies and Fromage are also in my top 10. Windmill Valley, Wild Gardens, Wyrmspan, and Wondrous Creatures (so many W games!) are all on my shelf to be played. Various things, mainly moving, threw off our gaming routine in 2024, but I'm focused on getting everything unplayed to the table soon.

I feel like you and I have similar tastes. I haven't seen your videos before so I noticed that you use nice presentation clips of games in progress as you're talking and I think that's helpful for me. No need to focus on the person talking about a game, which is what I'm used to seeing. Better to show what it is you're talking about, I think. But if I'm correct and our tastes are similar, I would suggest Vale of Eternity, if you haven't played it. I think we had, like, five crossovers on our top 10s. VoE was a big surprise for me this year. Windmill Valley is one where I'm just not sure if I'm going to like it, or at least, will it have the replay value to keep me playing it a year after.

I prefer Harmonies solo as well. And wow, what a game. I was surprised at just how much I love it.

I agree it is a solo game. I have all 3. I think the OG is easier to read but I love them all

Yes! I was able to pick this up at my LGS. I only play solo and I feel like this was a good purchase.

I just bought this game on NYE and I tried out 1 playthrough on BGA. It was a rough learning curve, but this video has definitely helped and when I start playing the physical copy, I will do much better. Nice job on explaining how to play.
