In my experience, shaking is a sign that something is broken but the adrenaline isn’t letting them feel it yet. My suspicion is that since you can’t feel it you’re unknowingly putting the broken bone in a position that would otherwise be painful, and while you’re not consciously feeling it, your body is still unconsciously triggering the withdrawal reflex as that reflex is governed in the spine and not affected by adrenaline. But since your conscious brain is trying to keep it stable and not feeling the pain, your reflexes and brain are fighting, causing the shaking.
