Obsidian would be better since metal get dull but with obsidian it will chip and make it still I will have to replace it but I suggest you should use obsidian if you can get your hands on it
They get the job done. Good work.
Nice vid! Straight forward. Thanks for sharing.
сделанно неаккуратно
Does it work on other wood grains
What is it ?
Mine don’t do the start up sequence
You should probably take the plastic sights off the gun if u are carrying this every day
Which headlights are these?
Alpharex Lux Series
I'm sorry man I'm sure this is a great video but I can't watch it because the mic quality is terrible.
Hey I have the same headlights but for me the amber mode makes the turn signals off by a couple of seconds and not in sync with the other signals like the tali lights or the side mirrors I’m curious if it does it for you
Not that I’ve ever noticed. My timing seems to be okay
i bought the contour sent it right back it just felt so damn cheaply made for what we pay for it
That’s a shame… I thought mine felt really good quality, leather was thick all the metal looks like it’s finished well. Not super heavy
@@Narly_Knives its the lightness that unsold me i thank lol maybe good quality just not for what they charge
I would love to see this tested using a tatami mat
Unfortunately it is not very sharp. Just pointy, but that would be interesting to see what it would do…
@@Narly_KnivesUsing obsidian shards can do significant damage. I mean according to spaniard memoirs, there's stories where a macuahuilt decapitated a horse. Sepa compa 🤷♂️, beautiful piece tho
I should come workout at your house!
A guy on Facebook and RUclips by the name of Yaocelotl La Armeria Mexica makes Macuahuitls and other historically accurate Mexica (Aztec) weapons and can ship them to the U.S. He might only speak Spanish but I bought a bow from him and I recommend his work. I am actually apart of the Aztec tribe, eagle clan to be specific. I make Native jewelry too.
🇲🇽
Um, so, that weapons very good at ripping flesh and causing pain, which is really good for humans... wanna know what Zombies don't feel or don't care about?
I carried the contour for years and it’s still my top 3 favorites. The only thing really annoying about it is that the screw to the stud scratches your top card up so much to where I had to order a new card after awhile. My biggest recommendation for this wallet is to get the civivi keychain tool that holds a double sided torx bit in t6 and t8. Especially when you carry more cash here and there 👍
which wallet do you carry now?
The new version of the contour and love it. I also use the open sea leather bifold lt and jj leathersmith lucais wallet.
@@qlwksmcnfh new version?
Does putting the comb in front scratch the inner frame of the wallet?
Not that I’ve noticed so far. The comb gets some marks on it though
Had you used it before making the video? The leather portion looks like it had been worn already
Ahhh ya got me. I had it for about a week. Was too excited so I threw it in my pocket and then just put it back in the clamshell for the video.
Nice EDC. Did you have any issues with the mag pull flared mag well and the beaver tail grip? I saw some say it won’t work once the beaver tail is on.
You have to trim the beaver tail in order to put it on with the mag pul flair but it’s not hard to do and I don’t notice that I worked on it
@@Narly_Knives thank you!
If the zombies had the durability of a normal human body then this wouldn’t do much since it lacerates and leaves wounds to get infected. So you could go for muscles and stuff. But assuming we are talking typical frail zombie bodies, then this shit would do some absolute ridiculous damage in one hit.
Eye witness Spanish report that it chopped a horses head basically clean off with one powerful blow.
The broblem with the macua is that its meant to maim instead of actually kill
nice set up..
Just subscribed……. Awesome video
Thanks for the sub!
a macuahuitl is better against flesh than a steel sword because the obsidian edge can be one micron thick - sharper than a scalpel. But, it's brittle and breaks easily. No good against armor, and they might break against a zombie skull. I don't know about the leiomano (the shark tooth variant), but I assume the same applies. I think a war pick, an axe, or a phlanged mace is the way to go. Weight focused on the tip to go for a killing head shot. That being said, a well-crafted macuahuitl should be able to decapitate until the cervical vertebrae break the obsidian blades.
Yours looks like you used a sawblade or constructed the edges out of spring steel or something. Which helps with the durability, but if you're going to do it that way, why use wood in the first place? I wonder if you could make the whole blade out of steel, but hollowed out or something? Would it still be a macuahuitl at that point? Or just a variant of sword? Sword-axe? I guess it is neither - it bites and rips. Specialized for removing limbs. Might be better than a mace. Certainly a worthy zombie-killer.
Nice EDC setup! Keep up the content! 💯
Thank you! I’m gonna try
Props for the lanyard!! I always add one because it’s a lot easier to grab out of the pocket. I don’t understand why everybody hates on lanyards so much. Plus, on my knives I prefer to use when camping and backpacking, I use survival Paracord for the lanyard because it’s got fire starter in it as well as thread and what not. Even though it’s a little amount, it’s something that could save your life in a pinch
People just like to hate. I like the functionality and honestly the esthetic
Smotherpro is great...hub pen inserts are better :) Great vid!
Blasphemy
Awesome vid. Only thing I'd add is on your person keep some sort of tourniquet. I carry about the same and used to rely on leather belt I made few extra holes in to be tight but now with kore and other belts you don't get that lockup capability. Keep up the awesome video. Gained new sub😉
Medical is something I am actively trying to add, specifically tourniquet. I’m thinking of ordering a Snackstaff Systems Tourniquet, it’s a good compact option from my understanding. My bad is never far from me and that’s where medical is currently. Thanks for for Sub!!
@Narly_Knives I've seen some guys on duty with them recently they are definitely compact but seem very well made. I carry mine with ankle med kit from tacmed. Only works with long pants but good way to throw in extra bleed stopping and a chest seal. Stau safe and keep it up. Can't wait for future content and updates
Awesome video. Great gear. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching! I think I am going to be showing a lot more gear so keep an eye out
Hello There!
Nice channel I have one too!👍🇺🇸
Good luck on your channel sir. Good video.
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
As a Mexican person, Aztec from my native part of I’m not wrong, seeing you make things like this is amazing. Looks a lot like the Polynesian version tho, don’t remember it’s name but instead of obsidian they stuck shark teeth in it
I’m glad you like it! I really want to make one with obsidian to make it more accurate, as well as actually tie in the teeth instead of pinning them in
R/ mall ninja bullshit
R/ Historical weapon spin off…
Dope as hell!!! 🤙🏽
Thanks man!
Not sure if ur Mexican as me but if your from the U.S, you one of the few people in the states that have all my doo respect ❤
I am not Mexican. Got family close family that Came from Chile, but that’s as close. I appreciate it though!
So you have a problem with Mexicans from the US, or just Americans in general? That seems judgemental and unnecessary
@@trinidad510 i have a problem with most of the u.s not only for history but for the predominant modern culture in that country
You know it’s good when it looks like a flash bang

Looks sick

Beautiful work, I love the control and rhythm you have on the hammer. It takes a lot of practice to get that rhythm down.
Thank you! It certainly does
Открывкашка?
Nope, Bottle opener I’ve never considered making a cab opener… I should try that
@@Narly_Knives Я это и имел ввиду - открывалку для бутылок.
Ahh okay, might have gotten lost in translation.

@@Zenith32 not a bad gig
@@Narly_Knives I don't even know what "gig" means.
@@Narly_Knives oh okay now I know what gig means.
I don't need this. I've had all the edge I'll ever need since I turned 13 :-D
Always get more edge
I use the tip of the horn insted of the punch for that bottle opening indentation
Hmm I hadn’t considered that. Might try it, see what I like better
Gorgeous knife. What stain are you using?
I’ll be honest it’s a stain that I was given by an old carpenter when he gave me some scrap curly maple. No idea what kind but it comes in a powder
@@Narly_Knives that's cool. I reckon a pigment type dye maybe. Well, whatever it is, it looks awesome. I was asking cause I'm carving an axe handle out of curly maple for an old axe head I restored.
That’s super cool, I believe you are correct that it is a pigment dye. It’s water based bc well, that’s what I mix the powder with
im a deer hunter and that happens to me all the time
It’s all part of the fun. That’s for sure
just be a necrophile in a zombie apocalypse
you act like this hasn't been a thing for 40 years
It’s been a thing for…. Hundreds of years
I think a baseball bat or shalalie would work best. Don't know how to spell it but simple cudgel or club. Cracks heads light and fairly easy to replace
Aztec sword-club was basically like a baseball bat or club with crazy sharp blades on each side.
Yes and blades get caught and can snag . Which opens you up to being bitten
