Still works in 2024 (almost 2025) :D I managed to do an honour run with this guide as well, but there are a few differences in order to achieve that. Firstly, the croc strat doesn't work with just The Red Prince, because he's not able to dish out enough dmg. So the strat here is to start the combat sequence exactly the same way until the croc fossil strikes The Red Prince. After that you want to advance with Fane til you're at the Abandoned Seeker Camp (getting the waypoint is the goal). Little side note here: if you've got the exact same weight on your heavy bag as shown in the video, you're not gonna be able to one shot Alexander or the Drillworm. I picked up more barrels/chests at the cursed pigs area as well as a few chests on the beach/Fort Joy which brought the weight of the bag to around 2.2k. That was able to one shot. Now after you've gotten the waypoint for Abandoned Seekers Camp, you want to continue combat with The Red Prince. First up just skip the turn and the croc with the gloves should move to the ledge. After that use 5 AP points to move backwards near the big rock and end your turn. Now it might take another turn, but the croc should TP down to you. After that you're gonna take Fane and tp to the beach waypoint and make your way to The Red Prince. When you get close, enable sneak mode and walk around and behind the croc that TP'd down. Now you're gonna use the bag to get the kill. Get the bag & gloves and flee combat with both characters. After that, everything is basically the same as shown in the video up until you reach the Nameless Isle. There you're gonna have to take the heavy bag with you when you do the queue shikifling to the Temple of Amadia (and the rest of the act ofc). Once you're at the point where you've skipped Alexanders turn, just drop the bag in front of you and use super fling to yeet the bag straight to the end, where you have to go (and pick it up again before interacting with the Wellspring). The rest is quite self explanatory, just kill the Embodiment of Amadia with the bag and then use Deathfog. The rest plays out just like shown in the video. Thank you for the immensly easy to follow tutorial, was really cool to try out speedrunning :D

So weird seeing Original Sin 1 and 2 after Baldurs Gate 3, each of them such a massive step forward. Original Sin 2 was weird in the sense that it was so easy to break the game's mechanics, it was always super hard to tell if you were actually playing it as it was meant to be played. BG3 is much less flexible, it's more structured. DOS2's pyramids, deathfog barrels, weight based item throw damage, it's obscenely large AOE spells that covered everything in damaging surfaces, the ridiculous amount of teleport / jump spell meant that while it was fun, balance was non existent, the player able to do anything. The music and ambiance was complete fire though, I'd say it's on par with BG3.

Hannag ended my honor mode run with her lava attack so I've lost all desire to try again lol. Maybe I should just try again abusing telekinesis,

Haven't played this game since late 2018. This speedrun was a great trip down memory lane, i love this game so much

How does being an undead lizard help ? I thought that was the least substantial undead race choice so strange to see for a speed run

and i must have finished it in 130 hours i think, last year, and last week just started over with two friends, just did a little bit of fort joy, nice video thou, i can't understand half of it but that is good, can't have this ideas to bring on the coop campaign since my friends never finished it

Me and my friend just finished our ~90 hour first playthrough, which was brutal, and this video may bring me to tears.

i saw glitchless on the thumbnail and immediatly thought "deathfog, surely" and turn out i was right. im impressed it work with only 2, i would have figured that you were gonna keep one for last fight

You know how they move their characters in Speedruns? They don't move it normally with legs? No, man, they are in rush there, they think legs are too slow. How'd they move it? They move it with teleportation pyramids. All of the time.
