This is not a permanent fix so long as moisture keeps finding its way in, but can help you enough to know the issue and how to resolve it momentarily.

Did you find out what the noise was?
@@RUclipsuser1_me yeah rod knock lol
@@sigma4079 would the noise come and go or constantly there and would it shake the engine? I have a similar noise but comes and goes
@RUclipsuser1_me no mine was constant and only got louder until it sounded like a tank
@@sigma4079 thank you letting me know
And why the fuck does it sound like ass?
OK, where the fuck is the turbo because all I see is a cold air intake
Hi guys , i have in my kia optima 2014 knocking same sound as this one , you hear it from inside of the car louder than standing in front of the engine , what the issue any idea? Piston or belt
You’re a life saver! Thank you so much!
Have a 2012 Kia Optima( 210.000 miles Transmission is slightly slipping sometime. I was told if I change the transmission oil it will get worse . Or add No slip Lucus. Treatment with trans oil . What is your opinion?
Fantastic to🎉 you men and my job whole lot easier
Very helpful thank you
It took 4 quarts?
No room to get fingers in there to turn it.
Thank you
Thank you!
You need to know how hot your transmission is, 122-140 i believe is the temperature you check your fluid on these. If it gets to hot you'll drain to much fluid out. If your not going to ck it properly youd be better off putting in the exact same amount of fluid you took out (if you have no trans leaks)
What year is your KIA? I have a 2020 KIA Forte it should be the same set up...
@nikoparris5416 mine is a 2012 optima i am not sure how urs is must look underneath n check it out
@sigma4079 yeah I just checked it out on top you have the aftermarket on top here's a little bit more open yeah but the setup is the same transmission this to the left our right can't be much different thanks for the response
Hi. How did you un ceased it ?
@mtrudel i didnt lol i baught a used one from junk yard
Appreciate the details on the video. There is no transmission filter or gasket replacement on the 2018 Kia Optima?
Ok so for I year later you helped me out and we need to go to work!!!! Bro thank you
What year? I’ve been looking for a 2016 SX turbo 2.0L
Did this trigger the cel to come on by chance?
not at all no
Dude, thank you
Is that same lrocedure for 1.6 gdi ?
THANK YOU! My outlet stopped working yesterday and I found a penny inside and I guess that blew the fuse. I was going crazy trying to find it!
Very straight forward video! Thank you for keeping it simple and to the point. My only suggestions would be: get a tarp from Harbor Freight to lay down on the ground to catch anything the drain pan misses, use a short 24mm socket (vs a deep well) and show/talk about the proper trans fluid to use (SP4-M) But, this is a really well done video!
You are a life saver. Thank you so much!
Jazakallah
😎👍
Thanks a lot
Thank you so much. 👍💯
Go check out my lap3 tune!!!
I can't get mine to go forward is there something holding it in
What kind of transmission fluid did you use ? I have an 2015 SX Turbo optima.
always use oem from the dealership 👍
how about kia 2004?, Thanks
Just tried this and it's worked on the power outlet, I only had the spare for that so I'll get some more and do the other one. Thanks again for the video 👍
Both mine aren't working. I'll try this and see how it goes. Thanks for the video
I’m pretty sure my 2013 Kia optima is in limp mode. The oil light is on and it won’t exceed 2000 rpm. Had the same problem last week, took it into a shop and they couldn’t find anything besides putting in freon for my a/c 😅
I could be wrong, but did you do the recall for engine knock? which is basically updating the ecu to put the car in limp mode when it detects early signs of rod knock. this may be that, and if so, i would haul it over to your kia dealership. who knows, you might even get a free new engine 😉
True I just called and scheduled an appointment hopefully it works
@@sigma4079does updating the ecu stops car from limo mode ?
@@TheWhateverchannel432did you ever figure out the issue?
Is transmission fluid the same as the oil
no sir both are two totally different things for the love of god do not use engine oil in ur transmission lol
@@sigma4079 so u put oil or fluid
@@sigma4079 because in my kia optima that where fluid goes
And I met transmission oil or fluid ppl same transmission oil but is that the same as saying transmission fluid
😭😭😭😭😂
Hey! No stupid music, no begging for a like or subscribe, short and too the point. A F++++first
thank you 😊
I have the same issue on my dash cam err I mean back up cam. Gonna try this tomorrow
just so you know this may be temporary mine lasted another 3 months roughly before it went out again so i baught a cheap one off of Amazon and its working great so far
Why are NONE of these videos showing LED Tail light bulb replacement? NONE of these show that setup! NOT the same as glass bulbs setup!!
if you got led taillights, then there is no bulb, but a strip of leds. One goes out, all fails, there's no replacement for that, but to replace the whole taillight assembly
You need a better cameraman. At the end of the video I wanted to see you shifting and all I could see was the lady's feet
ladies feet 😂😂 you are right sir i do need a better filming crew than just showing pov of feets 😂😂
@@sigma4079 I ain't mad or nothing. 🤣 I just messing around but I did want to see the gear shifting cuz you were saying you were going to shift a certain way and I never did see that. Oh well. I guess you were going to do it manually? Is that right?
yes pretty much in in manual mode just going uo and down the gears
@@sigma4079 okay 👍 Thank you
Thanks man! I appreciate it a lot.
Holy shit. Thank you so much. Instructions online are confusing as fuck and panel doesnt specify what fuses from left or right and how to remove. Thank you!
Bro didn’t change the filter
He’d have to drop the pan for that, which is easily doable but
Thanks for your video. I encountered the same issue with my cousin’s 2011 Kia Sorrento, but both 12V outlets were out. The fuse box panel was located in the interior of vehicle (bottom left of the steering wheel) in which the diagram cover listed as P/Outlet RR 15A and P/Outlet FRT 25A. I pulled the 25A fuse and it was blown. Replaced it with a 25A spare fuse (fuse box located in the engine bay) and it worked perfectly. Both 12V outlets work now. Thanks a lot! Great job!
Same thing as me. Gonna try it later and hopefully get the same good result as you 👍
That looks easy enough, thanks
Would this be the same method on a 2016 Kia optima automatic transmission 2.4?
I think so it should be in the same place as well
Ice-cream truck! 😃🍦 😋
what if you put the same amount you took out back in, measure the amount that came out?
thats the best thing you can do if you have a way to measure it.
How you take that off 😂
lap3 ecu tune lol
Thank you for the video. I am having similar problems with my 2012 Sorento. Is there any way to troubleshoot the wiring to the mirror to determine if there is a damaged or shorted wire or if the screen in the mirror has failed?
you are welcome 😊. there's two i could think of to troubleshoot the wiring. one is to buy a new backup camera and see if the stereo shows any image in reverse or not. if not than you know its either the stereo which is highly unlikely or faulty wiring. the other way is a bit extensive and requires the removal of the stereo so that you can access the camera wires in the harness. than you need to use a multi meter to do a continuity test from the reverse camera wires at the trunk all the way to the camera wires at the harness. ofcourse this also needs you to have a wiring diagram which should be easy to get online for the stereo harness. hope this give ya some ideas 🙂
