I like at 1:51, Buck raises his eyes a bit but still smiles, trying to be polite. The moment he heard Pooter talk about dildo jokes, aside from saying he was back from a party and probably smelled like alcohol, he was still being polite, but you can tell he was thinking "Oh ok, something's not right with this clown. No clown would do this." and then promptly close the door to avoid the kids hearing it. Always like that detail.

Its crazy how they sold this movie like uncle buck is some bad guy that gets changed by watching the kids. He first of all drove 3 hours at like 2am on zero notice and cooked every meal and did everything for the kids who he takes care of and mentors with no repercussions. He is probably one of the best men on earth in terms of character and family.

Everybody needs an Uncle Buck in their lives.

I have family uncles and close relatives friends that I know would gladly shelter me from such horrible people. I am so happy that I have amazing people in my life that would protect me. Even at a grown man’s age that I am they would still knock a few heads to make sure they know you don’t fuck with loved ones.
