When the carpet for your calm corner is too long, you could fold the side towards the wall down. It could also be more cushioned to sit on then too maybe.

The computer charging cart can be cumbersome, but it does serve a purpose. I just hope that all of your students come to school with their computers charged. If you have access to a clothing iron, set it on steam and go lightly over your tapestry to get out the wrinkles. Take care, and thank you for your video presentation.

This year will be a challenge because the incoming fourth graders spent kindergarten online. That container for crayons will work well. It can be frustrating when kids receive a new box of crayons, and then they lose most of them in less than a month. When you buy materials for your classroom, hold on to them for three years. If you do not use them during that three year time period, then give them away to another person. Best wishes to you for the upcoming academic year. Take care.

Loving the lights for different voice levels, gonna' see if I can add that to my setup next year. There's definitely a larger focus on making the classrom your own in the US, at least compared to here in Denmark. It's really cool to see how much time and effort is spent on making the room inviting and functional.

The incoming group of fourth graders are going to be a challenge academically because they were in kindergarten when schools shut down in 2020. Many did their schooling online in first grade, and they will need extra support with foundational skills in reading and math.
