Apollonia and Michael's love story and the effects her death had on him as one of the main reasons he went dark makes us empathize with Michael and we cant blame him whatever he does after that. Not to mention him going to the place where she died after he leaves everything and him dying there...

Pacino was right. His role was mild compared to Sonny's and that's why they chose James Caan to play him.

Too many huge egos, not the least of whom is the host. Awkward. Except DeNiro. He's cool.

James Caan is by far, the best actor up there, and the least acknowledged for it. He does comedy ("Slither" and "Elf") as well as drama.

The host needs to back off and let the actors and Coppola.

The stuttering and repeating half sentences made it hard to listen - Made me wonder how they did so well in the movie. Also these interviews showed how difficult it is to make a movie of this caliber just to cast it.

As an Italian, I was highly offended by James Caan. In my opinion, one of the worst casting decisions. He exemplified all of the typical Italian stereotypes…..”Badda bing”, the biting of the forefinger, the over the top use of hands, the horrendous way he talked, etc. If you notice all of the REAL Italians (Al Pacino, John Cazale, Robert DeNiro, Richard Conte, etc.) none of them acted like this. I was so glad when Sonny’s character was gone.

My God great book, the best movie ever, amazing cast ❤ I read the book and when I saw the movie at 21 years old I was a little scared of the violence, but no I loved it , I don’t know how many time I’ve seen it, to me is the best movie ever ! And to know all the hard time they had to go through in order to film it, great, great, great ❣️

With a gathering of this calibre of actors, the host stole time away from all of them being able to fully tell stories; instead, he felt the need to tell the stories from his 'research' and hearing his own voice.
