That's a Ridgeway triple Chime Grandfather clock so it Might play the Urgos Westminster Chime.
Urgos
Strange because the chime sounds like a regular newer keinginer then it goes to urgos strike rods
@@cobesclocks1949..what?
@@cobesclocks1949it has regular triple chime rods for the music, and a more dissonant tune rods for the strike.
I can actually see your reflection in the mirror inside of the Grandfather Clock and see your face! March 10 2022
Not to be rude or anything, but although the chime was no doubt lovely, the video was AWFUL: way too many unnecessary close-ups of... less important things. All that was important here was the sound. So practically the only thing that should have been filmed was the dial of the clock (with NO CLOSE-UPS). I'll bet no one was interested in seeing the guy in the mirror. No offense. It's just a personal opinion. Incorrectly filmed, but other than that nice clock and lovely chime.
All through this hour Lord be our guide so by you're power no foot shall slide
Westminster chime lyrics lord through this hour be thou my guide so by thy power no foot shall slide
Urgos movement not hermle
it sounds like peace tower.
can get the pendulum swinging does it run
That's Not Hermle!!!!! It's an Urgos movement
HerMlE MoVeMeNTT
Urgos.
It’s an urgos movement because of what the chime selector looks like and the click sound

MallGuy89 I think he was trying to do a thing that was done in another video called “The Grandfather Clock Comes To Life” m.ruclips.net/video/t4GSNByPEb0/видео.html
Probably showing HOW scary it is. UGH grandfather clocks.......
Trying to make a beat
@@mallguy8970 because it’s hilarious
Very nice sound! Plus, for the courtesy of you and others who view this, the chime tunes heard in their order are "Whittington," "St. Michael" and "Westminster and there are actually words for the Westminster chime. They are below if you want to read them while listening or sing along when it is played in its entirety on the hour, which occurs at the 3:36 mark. Lord, through this hour, be Thou our guide. So, by Thy power, no foot shall slide. These words are based on Psalm 37:23-24, where David the psalmist declares this: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand.
Hour strike sounds like there’s 8 hammers!

whoo cool.
.....
How can you tell if your clock is triple chime, and how do you change it? I have a ridgeway clock that looks a lot like yours and I can't tell on it. Right now it chimes westminster.
agentjs09 there is a switch
It sounds like big Ben......
Yes it does, especially when it strikes the hour!
It uses a Hermle movement. Thanks for watching!
Urgos
@@jakejayjay283 No, it is more likely a Hermle. They were the most common movements that Ridgeway used during this period, and they reserved Kieningers for the top end clocks.
@@phillippasteur3904 listen to the quarter clicks. Mine sounds like that and it's and urgos. That's and Urgos movement I'm hearing
@@phillippasteur3904 this is a urgos movement you can tell by the click and how the rack drops before it hits the hour on hermle movements the rack drops in the middle of the chime
@@phillippasteur3904 no around 1970s urgos movements we teh highest of all quality movements
