Sorry I don't know if you are active or not anymore, with regards to the TR coming off line 2, is that live power? I'm a bit confused becuse on our danfoss pressure switches our O- 230 is the neutral terminal
Great video
In low voltage connection where on earth are the terminals T10, T11 and T12?
In school we had one of these but it was done manually. The disconnect had wye one way and delta the other way with off in the middle. Throw the switch for wye, wait for it to hit full speed, then throw the switch into delta.
Great info
i have a 12 wire toshiba 7.5 hp 3 phase, how do i test the windings for continuity?
I have a 480 volt motor I pulled from a old machine . The motor has the 9 wire high voltage configuration ... there was also a #10 and #11 wire but no #12 wire ... The #10 and #11 were just capped off with a wire nut .. I was curious as to why I have only 11 wires... or if they are not #10 and #11 but maybe a thermal that is bypassed ?
Great video. Am interested in the wye delta motor wiring and trouble shooting
why never when a compressor is in a vacuum???????
Cannot not arc to other leads or to ground if there is no atmosphere to carry the charge
do a Burner start up video
alan do more
make sense? sure does.... simple? you bet....
What would happen if the second compressor starts first?
Ok
Great video. Answered my question with 12 lead wire whether to use Y or D
This is awesome! Would you be able to email me the PowerPoint? Great video
Question: I'm going to install a used system 27 Hp bitzer compresor, for ultra freezing, this system was assembly in china, installed originally in Seattle Washington, and I'm goin to install here en Baja Sur Mexico. The evaporator has 4 Chinese motors 3/4 hp 220/ 380 V, and each motor has 8 leads, 6 black lead numbered from 1 to 6 and 2 more Yellow leads. I notes that it were connected to 220 volt 3 face, L1 to leads 1,5 L2 to leads 2,6 and L3 to leads 3,4 The other two yellow lead i don't know exactly where were connected, I'm assuming something for controls. Did you saw this kind of connections before? do you have any idea what the yellow leads are for? there is not information at all in this motor and system, no serial numbers no model numbers only the compresor who was made in Germany. The evap motors only has the voltage, Hp and amperes that's it. Thank you in advance. I'm apologize, my English is not the best.
Yellow leads are for thermal overload
Full support....thanks for sharing

I have a GE sever duty motor 12 wire. I have it wired 9-5-11-L3 4-8-10-L2 6-7-12-L1 runs at 900 rpm on vfd (3510 rpm on plate ) I know the vfd is set up right. Why will it not run 3510 like it says?
Mack, On the VFD it my be set for a 8-pole motor which is 900 RPM at 60Hz, a 3600 RPM motor is a 2-pole motor RPM = (120 x Hz) / # of Motor Poles
sure WOULD Make more sense if I could see the wiring diagram.
Keep up the great work! I recommend using PromoSM.! ! It will help you get the views you deserve!!
It is very interested!!
hi,what happen if the 12leads motor run in 3 coils?the speed will be slow?
It can run with the same speed but the torque will be reduced, assuming you applied the rated voltage per coil.
@@megaturon1212 when the torque will be slow the motor will damage?
@@vicentecarrasco3653 It depends on the load, you need to check the motor current. If the measured motor current exceeds the rated current on the nameplate, the motor will burn.
One question Why we need 12 or 9 lead motor instead of 6 lead motor. Where these motors used
HVAC
Elevators as well.
Nice work. Keep it up👍
LOVE this:)))
Party at Alan’s!
Allan. Did you rebuild it? Adam Hakes wants to know.
No, it has not been rebuilt. It is completely original as built in 1954.
