What kind of fabric are you using for black work? I’ve been thinking of trying that next. (Been into Jacobean crewelwork recently). Is it sort of like cross stitch?
That bumble bee 😊💜 so beautiful! A HUMAN creation!
The program is MobiStitch!
Omg i love knit, crochet and embroidery and you have it everything 😂❤
I am shocked 😮 very hard work 👍 i love this clouds ❤
Please be selfcare❤
Your work is very beautiful 🤩
Smooth 👍
How does the back of this design look? Some style of embroideries have their backside be similar to the front side(for example, Kasuti of Karnataka, India ).
🙏👌👌😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🔥💜🦋
🙏👌👌😍😍💗💗❤❤❤❤❤💜🦋
❤
nice! what brand hoop do u use?
so helpful to see your process. What is the second layer of fabric you add in step 3?
Perfect, watching your videos from Brazil
Perfect, watching your videos from 🇧🇷 Brazil
What app are you using? Also, it'd be helpful if you added a section to your blog about how to read a blackwork pattern.
Mobistitch
Beautiful work!
very nice but could you put the speed of the video down it s hard to follow
You can change the playback speed in the settings too
I am officially hooked!❤
What app are you using?
Its called MobiStitch
Que tela usas para blakwork??
Great tutorial ❤
Mer ben öğrenmeyi çok ıstıyorum
Love this idea! Thank you for share! Hi from Uruguay :)
Good attempt😮
This is so beautiful!
Thank you! ☺️
Name of the fabric
It's 20 count zweigart aida ☺️
Meticulously gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤❤
Great tutorial!! I don't think you really say, are you using just one thread? I tried this technique but was using 2 threads and found that I ended up with a lot of gaps where the fabric showed through. I am using light colors on a dark fabric so that seems like it might be hard to avoid, but I'm trying to minimize this effect as much as possible. Thanks for the video!
I like to just use 1 strand for thread painting. I think in general, but especially for light colours on dark backgrounds, you just need to keep building up layers of stitching until you've covered the fabric. Don't be afraid to overlap your stitches or go back over sections that look a little thin, just keep going til you're happy! ☺️
Thanks for this.
Beautiful technique!
Thanks! ☺️
Thank you for the video. It would have been helpful if you explained how you secured your thread at the beginning and end. Unlike cross stitch, can's see how to bury your thread.
I secure my thread with a simple knot at the beginning and by passing it under some existing stitches on the back of the work at the end. It's really down to personal preference though, there's no right or wrong way to start and finish threads ☺️
Because the fast motion was done on the subsequent rows of the same color, I wasn’t able to see where the needle was placed. Was it inside the other row, did it meet up/butt up against the needle holes of the first row...? Since this video is for beginners, that part of the video should have remained regular speed at least at the beginning of the same row of yellow.
Hi! The instructions for adding rows of the same colour are exactly the same as for blending between colours. The stitches should land in between the previous rows stitches and create a staggered edge. Hope that helps! ☺️
Great 👍
heaven😍
It looks so much coumfy
It's very cosy! ☺️
I crochet too! 🧶
It's the best! 😁
The angling of the stitch is THE BEST help. That happens to me in other places too! Thanks!
Person: i can sort of unfocus by eyes Me: * takes off glasses * oh yeah-
Thats a great idea! Thank you! Ill be trying this!!
That makes a great end result! It seems far simpler than it looks like it should be too!
Oh yeah, this one is deceptively simple! Takes a bit of time but not complex at all ☺️
Very helpful thank you. I figured using one strand would be preferred for a smoother blend but I was unsure. I'm glad you mentioned it. I was hoping that wouldn't be the case as it would take longer lol but that's okay. Embroidery has taught me a great deal of patience already. I'd rather take my time then not be happy with the outcome as I'm investing quite a bit of time on it already. Thanks again.
I’m glad you found it helpful! I rarely use more than a single strand of thread in my work now, it just makes it so much easier to get the right details, but you are right it can’t take a long time to complete things this way ☺️
I am struggling with what to use if you can help with this please.
Hi what fabric do you use? Please
Sorry for not seeing this comment sooner! I use cotton fabric but often a double layer ☺️
@@PurpleRoseEmbroidery what do you mean by a double layer? do you stick two pieces of fabric on top of eachother in the hoop?
So sorry but your video sound is very low and hard to hear TFS your work is lovely...stay well
So pretty, time consuming but I love just stitching the same stitch over and over so it would suit me x
This is such a neat finish, I don’t know why I’ve never seen it before! Although I imagine it would get veeery tedious on even a 6 inch hoop, so maybe that’s why, lol. Thanks for this tutorial!
Very helpful and informative, thank you! Also, I do the unfocusing my eyes thing too when I’m drawing! Never heard anyone else mention it lol
Thank you, extremally useful, I'll be using this technique in my kingfisher embroidery!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! 🤗
