    I can't believe the amount of tools you were able to fit in one bin. Just when I thought you were done pulling out tools, there were like 10 more 😂. I have the Ridgid 2.0 system and I'm thinking about condensing the amount of boxes I have.

      I've found that using canvas bags are the best way to keep everything organized and reduce the amount of space it all takes up.

    Good afternoon from the Great State of Texas. I enjoyed your video. How come you do not have ratcheting wrenches? I have never thought about carry my tools in a big box like yours. Your big box is a good idea. You do carry a little bit more than me. What do you use the crescent wrenches for? I actually stopped carrying mine. Where did you get the 1/4 sockets from? Where is your torque wrench? Thank you and have a good day and be safe.

    • @cheap4x434
      @cheap4x434 Год назад

      Good evening. I don't carry ratcheting wrenches mostly due to cost. tools in my kit tend to get lost or stolen, so having ratcheting wrenches would cost more then I want to pay in the long run. As for my crecent wrench, it gets used when either I don't know what size I need or more commonly it gets used for making brackets and bending metal. I don't carry a torque wrench, most of what I repair doesn't require being torqued

    At work I'm guilty of buying better tools that I use daily like Wright, Mac and SnapOn. But for tools that I hardly use on a daily is like Tekton, Titan, Dynamic and ICON. Why spend top dollar if the tool is going to just sit in your box. I had Tekton and HF in my field box. But work has since supplied tools on the service truck. Brands like Tekton, Craftsman and Kobalt. And they all have held up great.. Good subject

    This is a great tour. It is always far more interesting to watch a roll cart video than a toolbox tour. And it is even MORE interesting to watch one like this. This type of tour shows the person's priorities and tell you a lot about the type of work they do. It is fascinating to see what someone brings when they have very limited space. As an aircraft mechanic I also enjoy the look into the GSE mechanic's box.

My personal everyday go with me "crash kit" is a 225pc Pittsburgh pro socket kit and a smaller toolbag of tools that I've refined over the years as a general do all away from home fixes. I can do 90% of what I have to do with the tools I have with me.

    Those Snap-on pliers are Manufactured by Wilde and rebadged Snap-on. They also are made for Carlyle, Neiko, and a few other brands. Exact same tool minus the Snap-on Price. They run about $20-$25.

      Whether the tool is cheaper or more expensive you're gonna buy it, price is irrelevant a year down the line. It's nice to be able to know you can get it replaced anywhere, even if you go to another country, you'll proabably find a snap on man.

      They may be the same as Carlyle (after looking at pics), but the biggest difference I've found across this design is the lack of the wire cutters in the front jaw above the pivot point.
