As long as I stretch the back on the wall and pin it in place, it does fine. In this video I did NOT do that and I ended up having to pull some of it back and re-do it!! As I said, this was how NOT to baste a quilt!!

I had so much fun doing it Toni and it will DEFINITELY show up more in my quilts!! I love watching stuff while I exercise because I get interested and look up to find that I am through!!

Thanks for watching and commenting!! I have found that my blocks end up being the right size when I use my tape method. I love that I don't have to worry about it anymore!!!

@@FrancesQuilts I use my #57 foot (gated foot) on my Bernina. It doesn't bend or toe out like many of them and rides over seams easily. If I need a scant, I simply go one click to the right. If I need an accurate quarter, it stays in the middle. Test block determines which I need to use when to get accurate block size for inter block seaming or intra block fitting. It has a straight stitch plate but is not a plate sensor...so I can move the needle --to include using a zig zag which is a bonehead move! Love your vids. Keep them coming.

@@notesfromleisa-land My Viking would allow me to move the needle and I loved that feature. I now have a Juki straight stitch so I cant move the needle which is another reason that I LOVE my tape!!

@@FrancesQuilts I have a straight stitch Juki too. You have to employ these methods with straight stitch machines.
