Rooting Fig Trees
Our Fig tree has been very sick for tree years. We severely cut it back. But it did not help. I want to take cuttings from this tree and start 2 new fig trees. This is my first time rooting a fig tree.

AGRI-FAB Tow Behind Plug Aerator Review
Просмотров 2402 месяца назад
I Bought a 40" Agri-Fab tow behind aerator. The were a few things I would change in the assembly, but there is a problem with the spindle bearings and spindle welds. It has a 4 year warranty, which is very good. But, the bearings and welds need attention before this is a dependable product. On the other hand, it works very well.

Strong Cheap $8 Tomato Trellis

This wood trellis only cost $8 to make. I used 2x4x12 untreated. I cut in half to make 2 pieces 6 each. Then I ripped them to make 4 pieces of 2x2x6. Sharpen the ends and drive to into the ground as posts and screw in one across the top. Cut the 4th piece into 3 pieces, 24" long and use these for stakes.

Replacing Trailer Boards and Lights
Просмотров 1407 месяцев назад
My old trailer (25 years old) needs new boards and lights. Using new treated lumber that really fits tight and new LED lights. When the boards fit tight, I use putty knives to guide the last board in. Totals cost, Lumber, tail lights kit and wood-to-metal screws ~ $265. Total labor time about 5 hours. I took my time because I was just getting over a sciatica nerve problem that lasted more than ...

From ugly caterpillar to beautiful Giant Swallowtail butterfly
Просмотров 259Год назад
The Giant Swallowtail only lays its eggs on citrus tree leaves. This winter was extremely cold for Lower Alabama and the Panhandle of Florida. We had 3 consecutive days in the teens which killed more than 90% of the satsuma trees. We were very fortunate. We only have one and it lost all of its leaves, but they came back. We had several Orangedog caterpillars, that's the name for the Giant Swall...

Did you have the part number for the replacement fan
Thanks for info… I am trying to lubricate all fittings but can’t locate. Please help
Thank you for the video. I have to replace mcor and thought I could only access through taking floor cover off
Thanks for your service. Several groups and churches do the same here.
Thank you for your video. It saves lives
Thanks for the video. Really nice.
You can turn the door alarm off.
@@mikeryan6277 True. I should have.
Love your dogs! Great job on the construction. Thanks.
@@danaeseemann117 Thanks
Awesome! This is like the third or fourth video I've seen on this subject and you're the first person to address structural integrity at all. The other videos just put the blocks next to each other and call it a day, which is not ideal for me as I'm in an earthquake zone and get very large animal visitors. This method looks like it'll actually hold together!
For some stability, you can fill some blocks with dirt and not concrete. That would make it stronger and less permanent
Great video👍🏼
@@josegallegosdds Thanks.
do you keep it outside?
@@billleist4227 I keep it under the shed on the side of the shop. But I now have 6 acres to keep cut. It's a workhorse.
Hello there, I have a GE profile that the freezer is t cold at all, the fridge is doing great but the freezer fans aren’t blowing cold air at all, I just ordered a new capacitor and Start relay, is this common for the GE French door style fridges? Any ideas why the freezer isn’t cold would help, thank you in advance
@@Shnickers123 If the freezer fans aren't blowing the freezer will not be cold and the ice maker will not make ice.
Phillip this is an absolute amazing informative video. I don't comment much but I found this video looking for information on the Orbit sprinkler heads and stumbled onto this and it appears that the Rainbird is the new replacement (LG3)??? Any how your presentation is legit. Thank you and I had my LLC subscribe to so that the team has all your wisdom. God Bless.
Phillip this is an absolute amazing job well done.
Just saw your channel scrolling around and subbed. I really like your raise block bed alot. I have been thinking a lot about something like this. We live very close to the coast with a high water table and I need to build a couple of these probably at least 5'-6' square and 24" high to plant my avocado trees in so that they are safe from sitting in water , the same thing I'll have to do for a mango trees which all will need rebar or something sticking up out of the corners so as I can slip pipe over it to tent them for hard winter cold snaps along with lights to keep them warm😁👍
@@craigjacob3704 That is great. I like the idea of a rod standing at the corners. I wish we could grow them here, zone 8. But we have one avocado from seed in a planter.
Do you putt any manure on your raised beds with your fill dirt
@@melissashreve2400 No. But you can. I just mushroom compost and potting soil. I get it in bulk at the local nursery.
@@countrylivingwiththewades8784 thanks
When removing the core, if the bottom is full of dirt (and it always will be), hold up the internals and spray a strong jet of water into the sprinkler body to stir up and wash out all the dirt and sand and grit. If there are small pebbles, you may need to pull them out by hand so they don't block the core wrench. Once you have all the dirt out, it should be very simple to remove the core.
@@arhedler I've started using a wet/dry vac. Just started going through each zone one by to clean them out and replacing/repairing as needed. A very long extension cord.
Where did you buy the fan!? And what’s the part number? Is there a link?
@@joaolcorreia I actually replaced both fans, the upper and lower. I got the part number though the GE parts website then bought the fans through Amazon
@@countrylivingwiththewades8784do you have the link? Where did you find the part number I tried the GE website and only has water filter!
@@joaolcorreia put in your model number then select the correct diagram. It will give you a selection of diagrams for your model. Find the fan you need and get part number.
Fucking made in America shit!
Have an over order of blocks, so thought this would be the next project. My understanding is that blueberries do not care for blocks. Thanks for the ideas.
@@drybud83 we grow our blueberries on the field and not raised beds. Enjoy your project. It will provide years of enjoyment
What about drainage?
@@llrainll Never a problem. The blocks are not a waterproof wall and the bottom is on the normal ground. If I did over water, the excess would seep through the block wall
Invest in a spade and sharpen it

Thanks! This is my exact problem. You saved me lots of $$$ and my wife thinks I’m Superman
You just saved me $3,500 on a new fridge! Thank you, you are appreciated. We had the exact same problem with the exact same fridge. It was made in 2013 and it’s 2024, it’s a good fridge!
Thanks for this. Im about to get to work , greetings from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
Pretty nice idea. I had not seen those little clips before to use with the string. Amazon I assume? Thanks for sharing... next video you might consider shooting in landscape mode instead of portrait.
@@webcompanion I got them thru Amazon. I'll share the link. Yeh, I wanted to make a short from this too and shorts must be portrait mode.
Thank you! Looks easy
Raised garden beds sure can be expensive to make and fill, but at least the investment like yours can last more than a few years.
I am wondering about all the places that should be greased/lubricated. The manual is not great. Would you make a quick video on that, please?
@@sallyknutson6595 There aren't many places to be greased, the front wheel spindles. On the deck, I think all the bearings are sealed, not needing greasing. It's time to do maintenance again. I'll video that and verify the grease points.
Excellent video. Thanks!! This is exactly what I needed to know to get started!
so wanted to see the deck and belt put back on..
@@ChillinwithCav I put a 2x4 under the back end of the deck to hook it up then connect the front rod. Then I can just pull the belt back over the edge of the drive pulley and rotate it while holding the belt in place.
This was a great video and helped me fix my fan issue. For some reason after I replaced the fan though my fridge is cooling too much and freezing over and I’m not sure what is causing it
Good job. Lots of good info....... Show us your dog next time. I heard him in the background......
@@NoMore4YearsofFailur that's Peaturkey. Funny name but it's just an old Southern term for something that's not worth much. We love him.
Hello would it be similar to replace the freezer fan? My freezer is at -18 and said it should be at -3
Thank you the video, I noticed the contact area on the circuit board was in pretty good shape. I couldn’t see the wiper part. Have you tried to clean both , lubricate and reassemble and see if it works?
I thought about it because I'm a tinker. But if the potentiometer wiper is not making good contact, it's usually not worth messing with
So so so so helpful
Thank you for a detailed video. I have same refrigerator, the issue with mine is everything is freezing in the fridge, from eggs to everything. Could this also be related to fan?
yes, I believe so.
What size is the drive belt ?
Exact problem, bump worked, part ordered. Thank you for this video!
Followup, mine is a CFE28USHLSS and the fan uses a completely different rubber boot to connect to the removable panel, not the back of the fridge. I was very afraid of tearing the boot so I cut the old fan off of it instead of stretch the rubber. After reassembly, the main fan works but the drawer fan now doesn’t. I took it all apart and ensured it was plugged in but still never turns on. Fridge seems ok though.
My father-in-law fills the holes of the blocks with good soil, and plants onions and basil or lettuce in them. You would think this would limit their size, but the onions get as large as the ones in the garden bed, Sometimes filling the holes.
Debora has.planted strawberries in ours. They do really well.
Mine the fridge is freezing everything
I appreciate the insights!!!
Thank you for the tip! I have watermelon, acorn squash, carrots, growing abundantly in ground with woodchips and horse maneur. But my tomatoes and bell peppers are kinda stunted, i will build them a raised bed :)
I want to get into planting more vegetables so this is actually really helpful, thanks
What is the purpose of a raised bed if you have plenty of land?
TLC is much easier. You focus more on a small plot than a large garden. You pull a weed here or there as you walk by. You don't need a tiller. The soil is special. It's hard to make the soil in a large garden as special as a raised bed. You don't have to bend down as much. My wife and both like that.
Super helpfull I'm still not figuring out why 1 of mine won't turn It worked for a few minutes
