Where the cysts are located on the brain is the issue with cmv.... My son had the virus in the womb; except we didn't know. The first telling signs was low birth weight, small head size and hearing impairment. There are more effects but I will go into that in a video. I am 14 weeks and down in Melbourne. I have just been told I am positive for primary cmv. I have to get the amnio test at 21 weeks, and if that is positive, they said I can have a blood transfusion (hyperimmune globulin _ or something like that). We are so nervous, anxious and worried, but what can we do?
