Sounds like Mr. Parker tried to create MMA/UFC already in the 60s, three decades before it actually happened 💪
At 3:14... who's the gentleman in glasses with the beard and longish hair?
Istorical gem mate

Ed Parker Great man & Great martial artist!
Good basic movement, but need to learn to develop power without such exaggerated moves
Great man.
SENSEI JOE, I NEEDED THIS.. I'VE BEEN AWAY MUCH TOO LONG ..THANKS, CLIFTON ❤
MISS YOU JOE, ..MY GRANDSON IS 2.. SEE YOU WHEN HE'S 4😊👍🏽👍🏽 CLIFTON❤
Ed Parker was such an interesting and amazing man. So many of our more famous martial arts heroes made their way through Ed Parker. He should have enjoyed more recognition in my opinion. What a great and intelegent man.
Parker was a pioneer in MMA. Melding a variety of styles and techniques into something that could work for you. I attended those International Karate Championships in Long Beach back then. Kenpo taught me many things that stayed with me as I trained in a variety of arts.
bellissimo, perfetto, bellissima musica, grazie Palanzo
Ahhh so now I understand why Russel consistently was literally kicking kids across the room during sparring when we were kids....It all makes sense now after all these years LOL....
Wahhh what good childhood memories this video brings back... Seeing Mr. Joe teaching in front of that mural is really making me smile. What a great man!
🤣🤣🤣
Man that was so long ago! I was learning as we went :)
Pretty awesome stuff! That looks like Nick Charles in some of those shots....
It was! Joe was friends with him. At the time Nick Charles was a sports reporter on lthe ocal news. This footage was filmed by the network and they aired segments the entire week about Nick taking lessons at the school.
Mr. Palanzo is by far the most charismatic kenpo leader !!!
