Playing a few cover songs on my guitar
Hey there RUclips! I know its been awhile since I've made any videos. But I swear I've got some great stuff coming up soon. Some more stuff from the High Sierra and more stuff from gold prospecting! But until then I'm leaving you with some video of me jamming out a few tunes on my guitar. I know I'm not the most talented, but its fun. And It's been awhile since I've played so it felt good to play again.
The songs I cover are 'Farther on down the road' by Taj Majal, 'G.A.T.E/Upside Down' by Jack Johnson, and 'Ebin' by Sublime. Thanks for listening!

Taboose pass - September 2016
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.7 лет назад
For my 7th and final trip on my adventure in the High Sierra last September, I headed up Taboose creek. The first day I started late and only hiked about 5 miles in, but I found a really great place to camp for the first night. The second day I continued up to Taboose pass. I headed southeast from the pass and found a spot to make my camp at the largest of the Taboose pass lakes. From there I h...

I feel the most alive out there. I've been able to position myself in the last three years to work all winter and take off August and September to backpack/flyfish. so much to see in the Sierra Nevada. sequoia has a special ace in my heart. the abundance of class 2 cross country passes has allowed me to do some big loops. some are a little spicier than I was expecting. going up pants pass from the west was the wrong way. should have looped the other way.

That was awesome! My dad and i hiked down from the tram in 1982 en route to carramba when I was 12 yrs old. Along the way a ranger stopped us and warned us there was a murder there at carramba. So my dad decided to turn around. He had. His 357. with him but he also had me with him and i don't think he was comfortable spending the night there with his 12 yr old son. Found out later a family hiking around carramba stumbled into sum dudes marijuana grow so he shot and killed them. They found the guy later. So needless to say I never got to see carramba so I really appreciate your footage. I will go again some day but all the way this time, before im too old. Thanks again!

As a young teen, we used to take one to two week camping trips in Rockhouse Basin. We'd drive up the mountains off US-395 West of Pearsonville, to a gated trailhead access area, then hike down into the valley. In the winter, there would be chunks of ice in the river and sheets of ice on the rock faces.

Hey big guy. " We caught the JMT up to Muir pass, then headed over Black Giant pass into Ionian basin." Is this the best route to the Ionian Basin? Is it hard to navigate to Martha Lake from there?

It's the only route I've taken into Ionian, so I can't say wether it is the best or not, but it's pretty easy. And the traverse to Martha lake via Goddard creek pass doesn't look very difficult at all.

@@Earthculturemusic it’s kinda pathetic to fish a tiny stream with wild trout that have a fragile population with spinners . Learn to fly fish man that’s the true way of trout fishing . Those pools you were hitting you had to be right up on them if you were fly fishing and know what your doing you would’ve been catching waaay more fish VS being so close with your spinner reel scaring fish away . Also go barbless so the fish don’t get fucked up. Everytime I see you spin fishermen I laugh because it’s honestly pathetic. Stick to lake fishing with your spinner rod or don’t so I can get a good laugh but trust you’ll catch way more wild trout on a fly rod and reel.
