La musique est vraiment bien pensée, le couplet est très bien, le refrain aussi mais ensemble cela fait un peu bizarre, surtout que le refrain fait très "JEEE DANSEEE" un peu comme si la chanson était forcée et nous aussi et c'est particulier, mais ça peu bien marcher pour aller en finale ! en tout cas les chances sont là pour représenter le pays, et avec 100% en français s'il vous plait messieurs ! si ce n'est pas celle-ci, alors la poupée doit gagner

I'm Greek and as an observer of the Luxembourgish contests I have to agree that French is by rule the language to go. Last year's top 3 being all in english really emphasised the aesthetic difference and made me lose interest. Seems like the doll is the favourite this year but I'm afraid that this is not at all close to the potential the language has to offer as the piece sounds like a monotonic upbeat anthem to my ears. Then, this one bears this weirdness that you called out too when the forced screems come out of nowhere and just repeat themselves in a tiresome repetition. My general objection to our situation with those 2 choices is the systemic pop in them. The doll has perhaps more different words and is less repetitive but it consists of a single beat which to my ears is a poor way to make music. On the other hand, this one, has a repetitve catchy refrain and some alternation in its beat though it does not really sync. There ends my rant, lets hope for a contest that remembers it's musical part so that we can treat it with respect, otherwise... no matter its social, political context it overshadows the music hideously, you feel me?
