Just finished the video and it helped clear some things up for me so thank you. What the video didnt go over is the gopro mount on the front of the canoe as well as hanks harness strap attached to the canoe. Could you explain more about that?

@@davidtato6167 it’s a mount I found on amazon bolts to the canoe put I put a 1/8 aluminum plate under the deck and rivited it in to support the mount better it was flopping all over before. Hank up front I feed a leash around the front rope loop back up down through the hole for the sailing mast and then back through itself on the handle and then to Hank helps hold him in the canoe with out it he falls out all the time! His life jacket that he wears in the canoe is a ezydog jacket he’s had it 6-7 years now and for a pull harness it’s just one off amazon you have to measure there back and chest to make sure it will fit right.

That’s for sure me too but the Pulling harness makes a difference!

@@blaqfish haha we’re no one special I have a pull harness now for myself going to get one for Alissa too and hank has his so be 3 of us pulling and I also put some bigger wheels in the cart should make things better!

My first engine was a 50s 2hp Evenrude on a 8’ wood runabout me and my dad restored. My uncle ran f1 with a v8 evenrude too.

@@kohosalmon3637 if your in the states different specs there Myers sportspal different canoes ours are out of the north bay factory here in Ontario.

I Live in Northern Ontario and know all about them . Yours is between 56lb - 59lb . the lightest boat they make is the 12 foot canoe 43lb . Radisson's are made in North Bay and Shipped to the states only because of the Coast guard Difference's on the motor rating's 2 hp max on them . your boat is rated at 3 HP Max , if you still have the sticker 3.5hp on the back of motor you should take it off . if you meet up with OPP on the water you could get a ticket . if you take the sticker off and they ask you what HP you got you tell them 3hp . lol - cheers

Ya I think what went on to many rpm on a wore engine I can move the piston around in the cylinder they got some good slap to them! Have another stock power head here going to put on for now and build another powered for it!

@@knightcustombuilds6988 got 56mph yesterday think I blew er up though these vids before is was leaking fuel out the carb I got a kit for it got it all fixed up and running right tear in to it later today.

My 50 had a bad jet and scorched my third cylinder one time. I didn't know it wasn't getting gas until it was too late. I never heard it drop the cylinder. It ran on two cylinders until I realized it.

@@knightcustombuilds6988 it dropped to one cylinder and i managed to make it back it sounded real bad though I am honestly not sure could be simple could be something major have to see yet I don’t think my tach is right but I was wide open running down the river probably my fastest run then poof!

@@knightcustombuilds6988 that be a blast to run! My dad and grandpa ran 13’ deltas with 50-75s on them I just got this set up spun the hub on my good prop can get way more speed but I was China walking with a 13p aluminum prop last night! Going to order a quicksilver chopper 2 18p

@@lifeinthevalley14 oh hell yeah, you slap a 18p on that hot 18 you got an you going to be scootin my friend! I've never seen anything like that boat you got. It's not just a tub by no means. It's been engineered around a tub to make it aerodynamic. That's awesome, I never would of imagined a tub boat would look that bad ass. Keep the content coming, that's a sweet setup you got!
