Arnel was struggling..It' was painful to watch. He needs a rest, a long one.

I was there!! It was a PHENOMENAL night!! The weather, temperature, sound of the music was PERFECT ❤ My spirit left my body & I felt like I was floating when Arnel sang Open Arms. That was the most perfect rendition of the song I’ve ever experienced. Thank you for uploading this & thank you, Journey, for a phenomenal Wednesday perfect San Francisco night of your iconic music!!

One interesting aspect of Morgan wallen concert is crowd is pretty split between men and women. Which is unlike any other musical superstar now.

Got to remember this is an outdoor concert, probably not the best sound quality on the recording device either, cell phone, camcorder. Neil's is playing a Les Paul Guitar but it doesn't sound like one.

Def Leppard does not disappoint! These guys sounded great!! I was a little harsh on Journey saying that Arnel Pineda sounded like he has having a rough night with hitting the high notes with the ease that I'm sure he normally could .. an off night? Happens to everyone sometimes. Now these guys are my style of rock! They made that night well worth it! They killed it! Well worth the price of admission to see these guys! Def Leppard rules!

By the 2nd song Arnel was struggling....

Not hating. It's just a fact that this band has been on the road for far too many nights and is tired. I love the music of Journey, saw them three times in the early 80's of course with Steve Perry. BUT the only original member is .Neil Schon. He is a great guitarist, and like with Van Halen, the leader of the band. As for Arnel Pineda singing, I like him! He is the best replacement for Perry, but he will always be "the replacement." Steve Perry was a perfectionist and he got burned out from being on the road traveling the World so much that he saved himself by quitting when he did. As a vocalist myself, I feel bad for Arnel as he stepped in to fill some big shoes. He is certainly not a bad singer, but this was not a good night for him. His vocals were pitchy at some points, his voice is tired, and so he depended more on audience participation and other band members to help cover for him. Maybe he had a cold? He had his good moments though he was struggling. I'm glad that so many are still digging the music of Journey! It's also great to introduce newcomers to their music, however I would not pay those high ticket prices. I'll put on my records or go find the live performance from the 1980's on RUclips .. Steve Perry was at his best in the early 80's especially in the live recordings from the Houston concerts. As a curious critic of music, I'd rather keep it in the positive. I've listened to this entire concert video and will not listen to it again. Maybe it's because of the high ticket prices that listeners like me expect more .. at least for the band to be at their best. Like they say, "the show must go on!" Again, no hate! I'm happy for those who had a great time at the concert! I personally know a few who were there. I guess I'm just nostalgic for the Steve Perry era which is never going to happen again. Thank God for my record and CD collection! Rock on!
