I wanna play devils advocate here. The bible itself has a case where it seemingly permits abortion. In numbers 5:11-31 we find the described "the test for an unfaithful wife". I'll just give the summary. If a man suspects that a wife is unfaithful, then he is to take her to the priest. The priest takes dust from the tabernacle and puts it in water. She is to drink it. If she has been unfaithful, the water will cause her to miscarry and her belly to swell. So apparently its ok to "kill an unborn child" if the mother cheats and gets pregnant by another man. Why would god be ok with killing innocent babies for something the mother did? If abortion was prohibited because its taking a life, then wouldn't the proper cause of action be to let the baby get born and then give the mother the water and make her cursed and belly swell? But I guess thats the old testament so it doesn't count?

This whole movie was Catholic propaganda. Anti-euthanasia, pro forced birth, anti death penalty, demonic possession, hell it even had fuckin Glenn Beck in it. I hate the politics of this movie, but I’ve got to admit it was pretty good. Especially since the majority of it took place in a single room.

It made 5.8 million dollars showing in 933 theaters meaning a total of 386,000 tickets sold at average of 15 dollars per ticket. In contrast the Deadpool and Wolverine movie maid 1.3 billion dollars in theaters meaning a total of over 87 million bought a ticket.

Can you imagine how the carpenter feels when a young woman lies bleeding to death in a hospital parking lot, because Republican men see her only as property?

The commercials are scarier than the actual videos.

I have now watched this 3 times in the last 2 days and it is without doubt one of the mostt amazing and well acted (particularly Sean) films i have EVER seen.

Just like the "my country, right or wrong" quote, almost everybody gets the "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" wrong because they never say the verse that comes after. "Love is the law, love under will". That means you don't fuck with anybody else against their will. It means my freedom ends where yours begins. Btw, the other full quote is “My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right.”.

I watched this movie today, and this scene was GOOD. It almost convinced me. Then I remembered that it's just a really good movie as The Exorcist was, and some of y'all in the comments just have disgusting fantasies about controlling women, mostly because they won't f*ck you, not to mention you actually let a fictional Demon get inside your head(how dumb is that?)
