Nice! Have you noticed if the Conemaugh line has been busier than usual lately? They have been replacing track on the pittsburgh main line for the past couple months and there is virtually little to no eastbound trains on that line anymore. Was wondering if they was just sending everything that isnt a double stack up on the conemaugh line instead?
@lookingback6314 Thanks! Yes I have noticed the Conemaugh has been busy at night than usual. I didn't know they were replacing tracks on the Pittsburgh Line. The Conemaugh doesn't take double stacks and the max height is piggybacks due to the bridge at Etna
@@W11GEOfficial From Grapeville up into Greensburg I have seen it so far. I kind of figured they were rerouting what they could up the Conemaugh. They are still using it but I think when they are working on it throughout the day it is closed down and pushing westbounds only. I have a couple of videos posted showing the track they tore up and even a video on mill marks/mill branding on the rails. The rails they pulled are from 1978!! And the rails on the what is historically westbound side is dated to 1967!!! They really got their money worth out of the track that could be original PRR Rails! Crazy to think about.
@lookingback6314 I didn't know that at all. I knew they detoured some trains but didn't know they closed the line except westbounds. I will make sure to watch those videos, and I once saw a rail from the 1950s at CP Pak in Torrence that was built from the Carnegie Steel Center before they changed to US Steel.

Hello! I think I may have seen this train at 12:07 PM on 222 by Granite Point but I'm really not sure though! Probably but I saw lots of tanker trains
@michaeleckert1825 Hi! That was an unknown train. This train came through around 8:07 PM.
Beautifully shot! After all these years I still get butterfly’s when hear the rails start screeching and catch that first glimmer of the headlight peaking around a bend!
@@lookingback6314 Thanks! Yeah I do get that feeling too when I hear the rails and see that headlight appearing around the bend.
Liked the encounter of the OCS lead by 4822 & 1067! I’m happy to see they fixed the grab iron on 1067’s nose. I recently got 1066 (New York Central) on 278 today.

Awesome Jim. Sutersville is very near to Peter Shaner's (Daniel's grandfather) farm in Beuna Vista.
We did see a sign for Shaner sportsman club. We're actually at Scott Haven Rd.
@@W11GEOfficial That's even closer. There are farms on top of the hill from where you are. Probably one of those was Peter's.

@@W11GEOfficial Yes, Peter was my great, great, great, great grandfather. He died in some kind of accident at age 35 near Adamsburg. That makes him your great X 6 grandfather.
