I started collecting the Wii U games that have a port on the Switch as a fun goal for collecting. It's cheaper and it's neat to see the original next to the port. The Switch versions tend to run in higher fps and better resolution but there is something missing with the GamePad functionality that you could only get by playing it on the Wii U as intended, even if some of those features were minor. :)

Held this thing in my hand at e3 2011. It really impressed me. But every decision Sony made for it after that showing were the wrong decisions

I just don’t agree. I’ve played the PS4 for years with my brothers before getting my own Xbox one and I choose it 9 times out of ten. I know it’s unpopular to think, but the UI just feels so much better as well as the controller, being a dude with bigger hands

I got out of that isaac loop for nearly 2 years, but repentance has been drawing me back in slowly, I had nearly 2700 hours in it, I had a serious problem I think.

And with modern games from big publishers also being dissapointing, I am not surprised my arse and many others switch to retro games or faithful re-releases/remasters/adaptations like Persona 3 Reload instead of playing a game released the current year! You can count on one hand all releases that genuinely MATTERED (Hi-Fi Rush, Palworld, Helldivers, Spacemarine 2) and it was reflected in multiple types of media (player-made on platforms like YT and TikTok, as well as with articles). All the games I play/played on Steam are 2021 at the newest with the utter exception of Palworld.

Also grew up with the Wii U but I’ve never had any intention to buy back many of the games I sold mostly bc I have improved versions/sequels on switch and I never really liked the Wii U to begin with. Had Nintendo not rereleased all their hits on the system, I can totally see the Wii U becoming the next GameCube and being insanely overpriced.

I hate to say it. People are sleeping on the Xbox Series X. That is a powerhouse machine. Yes, granted, can you get the same power? Or maybe even maybe even better, I don't think so. By buying the ps pro, I'm going to get it for Christmas. The ps pro, so I'm gonna check to see the which one has more power, but That's 700 bucks and uh, huh? And the Xbox Series X is 500 no matter if it is more powerful or if it's the same power that means you're getting a better console for a cheaper price, then you would. If you bought a playstate, throw in some game pass with that boom. That's an all time better deal than PlayStation. I'm not stating who what side I'm on cuz. Xbox is now basically a simple gaming PC. Especially with most games cross saving between Xbox and pc. You can walk from your desk to the couch and pick up in the same spot of the game. This will only become more seamless. I think that’s future for Xbox. It’s a cheap gaming pc
