Bro you ok?
?
I think sevr makes the best mechanical on the market. There’s not too many mechanicals you can use over and over again, and I value durability in a broadheads and sevr just nails it.
Just picked up one for my metcalf. Excited to be able to take off the main pack at camp and spot and stalk with the gravelly
@jarretwilson5811 it's a pretty cool setup and a good size for those short day trips.
Awesome setup, I ended up with hamskea trinity, trophy ridge react one pro and a bee stinger 10” but I feel I shoot better with out it. I can’t wait to hunt with it this year
@richardwolfe8752 you can't go wrong with Hamskea and those other accessories sound sick. Whatever it takes to shoot better when the time comes. Good luck this season!
Great vid. There's a bunch of vids that didn't explain anything. Really appreciate it.
@tgsharp1158 thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. Let me know if any questions come up from that.
Nice!
I have this bag, and you showed me things I never realized it had or could do... lololol! Thanks!
@@crosbyshaterian that's awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
I have a 27” draw…..Ethos or Kairos?
@@shawnmcgauley270 you'll get more performance out of the cam with the Kairos at that draw length. It's always best to go to your local shop and shoot both. See what feels best. You may prefer one over the other.
My cousin ended up with the kairos he’s at 27 as well and loves it. I’m at 29 and went with the ethos and couldn’t be happier.
@@richardwolfe8752 that's awesome 👌 Glad to hear you're enjoying it.
Thank for sharing, how do you compare to the Full Draw 5? Which would you prefer?
I've never had the pleasure of using the Full Draw 5. If I ever do, I'll let you know. Thanks for watching!
Those sonics have been great for me. Hopefully Easton doesn’t discontinue them
I certainly hope not. They filled the gap of two other 6mm arrows that they did discontinue. I think you'll see the Sonics stick around for a long time.
I have a collar/outsert on my arrows. When I tried to practice with a hurricane bag, it was extremely difficult to get my arrows out, is this bag decently easy to get arrows with outserts out or does it have problems like other bag targets?
@steviemason7962 the bag targets are the worst for that. This one has two finger arrow removal. I found with collars a had to pull a bit harder, but not by much. It's a very heavy, dense foam target. I absolutely love them.
@@cariboumediaoutdoorsthanks for the info and the reply you gained a follower!
@steviemason7962 thanks for watching and welcome. So much more to come!
Dude my shooter deer looks the same. All taped up. Except mine still has legs
@jeremyvigil4138 it was a standing buck with antlers. It's been reduced to what you see now lol. The Crimson Talon Crocs cut it almost in half when I was testing those. Check out that video. Crazy. I refuse to get rid of it. Lol
I always liked slick trick viper tricks. Great head for the money. My issue with the Revival is the price first and the forward bleeders second. I have limited experience with forward bleeders personally but followed another head for awhile in the forums that looks a lot like the Revival. The forward bleeders did not fair up well on hard impacts, and provided no advantage what so ever to rear mounted bleeders. Actually, some felt it would hinder penetration if it hit hard resistance. Regarding cut width, it's 1 1/8" period imo. The spec of "total cut" of 4.8" is nothing but marketing hype. Regarding price, that's ridiculous. There is nothing here a Magnus Stinger or Hornet would not do for a lot less plus a lifetime warranty. As far as accuracy , magnus has been considered a very accurate head for a very long time now by many shooters.
@johnthearcher662 I have some Magus heads on their way, so more to come with those.
I would prefer the 2.25" total cut of the 4-blade Slick Trick Magnum. Slick Trick Magnum (2000), Standard (2005), & Xbow (2010) are basically the exact same broadhead.. The ferrules for all three are identical. The only difference is the Magnum/Xbow comes with 1 1/8" blades (2.25" total cut) and the Standard comes with 1" blades (2" total cut). You could use Standard replacement blades in a Magnum/Xbow ferrule or Magnum/Xbow replacement blades with a Standard ferrule. I prefer the all steel construction with no rubber bands or tiny screws to mess with. Blades are very easy to sharpen. Since the Xbow has a 150 grain option, you can shoot 100, 125 or 150 grains with whatever blades you choose. If penetration with a lower poundage bow is a concern, I would highly recommend the 100 or 125 grains Viper Trick. These are much more affordable options than the Revival. Most of all, I think the Magnum, Standard, Xbow & Viper Trick are a tough 4-blade design that's hard to beat for the price.
Nice broadheads but not paying $33 for each one. You could end up with an $80 arrow if using premium shafts, some titanium outsert system and this BH. S&S archery guys made the original solids and I wouldn't pay their price then either.
It’s been done before, used to be a company called SOLID Broadhead. They were made of S30V which is an excellent stainless steel commonly used in the knife industry.
They bought out the Solid company
So Slick Trick bought out the Solids broad heads from Elite Archery ?
No. Elite Archery, Slick Trick Broadheads, CBE Sights, Altra Arrows, and Scott Releases are all owned by a company called The Outdoor Group.
@@cariboumediaoutdoors The original owner of Solids i'm going to say his name was Steve ? Sold out Solids to who ? It was his broadhead. He also was a big seller of Merino First Lite if memory serves me well.
Looks wicked! ❤
Great review! So I just unboxed mine and noticed the angle iron frame has a slight upward bend at the saw end. I am wondering if yours is like that or if mine got damaged somehow.
@@steverickert212 can you send me a photo of it to josh@cariboumediaoutdoors.com

Those buckles!
What do you think? Like them...dislike them?
@@cariboumediaoutdoors I like the size but wish they were simpler to use
@@nevenko1963 gotcha. They open and close fairly easily, but you have to keep your eye on that little metal piece.
Hell yea! The Ethos has been a great bow for me!
@@jeffcordero_ Best bow I've never shot!

I really enjoy this sight so far. I also have a BG Dual trac but wanted a 3rd pin in the vertical style. I don't believe you can beat this sight for the cost. The only real down side I've noticed for me so far is the bottom pin in darker areas isn't as bright as the top two. However when sunlight hits the scope it lights all 3 up well.
@jefferyaron1237 yeah I absolutely love this sight. It is incredible!
Hey man - what's the lowest temp this mat could be used for and what's and ideal temp would you say? Thanks!
@Wigglebus I can't seem to find anything from the manufacturer, but I had it in BC down to -1 degree C, which is 30 degrees F.
Too bad all their crap is made in China now.
Great video buddy!
@outdoorsdan_6 Thanks, Brother!
Great review. Would it be possible to make a review for my rain jacket, a startup brand? Not as good as this one. But at a price of US$40, a mesh lined rain jacket with 2 layer membrane fabric, fully taped seams and pit vent. It is hard to find elsewhere.

i compete and hunt and i am getting my own setup going so i can build my arrows so i can build them how i want and for convenience. And not having to go to a shop and have them cut it for me. This is an awesome video! This is the exact video i was looking for. and awesome review that gives the rundown on the product. Thank you for the awesome video!
@@strantheman2532 that's awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love the convenience as well. Thanks for watching!
Plastic? The description sais it's aluminum? Well I'm curious now. I'm considering getting one.
The exterior is made of lightweight Polymer, and claims to be 100% waterproof.
So, what happened to your sight? That it was causing left hits. I figured you would have everything dialed in at home? I did the San Antonio TAC a couple years back. Once was enough for me. I know if the sights aren’t 100% you’re going to be in trouble especially at those 70+ yard targets.
@timgruver5932 when we got to TAC my sight looked off and not level. Tried to make corrections over the course of the four days. It's all corrected now that I'm home!
Got one, you’ll love it!
@@sworley114 I absolutely do love it!
Thanks for the info about the J-hooks! I was unaware those were needed for attaching the X2 sticks.
@outdooradventures406 thanks for watching. Glad it was helpful!
What outserts are you using on the sonic 6.0?? Looks good
Those are the Iron Will Impact Collars. In this video I was shooting the 5mm Axis.
Gotcha, thank you. Have you found any similar systems that are compatible with the 6.0?
@Mbtharp1 no. I haven't found a collar for the 6.0's. They've been working great as is with the brass inserts. Love those arrows.
Great info mate!Thanks a lot.
Glad it was helpful!
That traverse jacket, does it wick moisture out well? Because on the sitka site it doesnt say that it has wicking ability.
It's DWR coated on the outside, so it will wick moisture on the exterior. I haven't had any overheating issues on the inside as I'm only wearing it during the late fall / winter weather.
Just picked this quiver up, totally love it.
It's pretty incredible. Built to last for sure! Thanks for watching.
Good info, thanks. Suggest lowering the intro music volume & completely turn it off while you are talking because it distracts from your narrative.
Thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for watching.
@@cariboumediaoutdoors - I plan to buy one of the SteriPens for our “Lights Out Grid Down” home prep. We aren’t campers or hikers, so we don’t have any hands on experience for situations that’d call for a portable 𝐇₂𝐎 UV tool. Which model would you recommend for an elderly couple? We are prepped for about 3 months of 𝐇₂𝐎 plus gravity filters, Berkey & ceramics. We’d like a SteriPen just to have so if we had to go mobile, that we wouldn’t be totally dependent on others 𝐇₂𝐎 wise.
I like the Ultra because it has a rechargeable battery. If you ever needed to recharge and didn't have electricity, you could always use a solar panel or portable power bank to recharge it.
Hi, nice equipment for tuning your bow, I need a neighbor like you 😂 Thanks for showing the assembly and usage!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Hey Man! Tim here, thanks for taking the time to highlight this jacket. Looking to get one to run over my layers. Base TShirt, then either fleece or puffer. Im' 6' 3" weigh 235lb. 36-37" sleeve. I usually wear like you an XXL/TTG (Long). Just wondering in this jacket, if there is a big difference in their XXL vs 3X ? I won't be in weather under 0 degrees, so I don't need the extra cold layer. Thoughts, any help appreciado.
I'm usually a 2XL, but noticed their sizing is a bit small. I'm also layering, so I went with the 3XL. Based off of your size you should be good with the 2XL. Check the size chart on their website to see where your chest size falls. It's a great light weight jacket. Hasn't let me down.
The pack I attached it to was the Mystery Ranch Pop Up 40, but you can secure it to any pack. Even better if it had a meat shelf.
what packing systeam is that
It's the Mystery Ranch Pop Up 40, but any pack with a load shelf or compression straps will work.
