Burl Page, if what you have is really what you say, it is priceless. If I was you, I'd listen to them, then talk to a professional about how to preserve them. My dad saw the Doors in San Francisco live. Of course he is gone now as are many from his generation, lost to time. I would look at it as my duty to preserve what you have. Much of history has been lost forever. Maybe you can prevent that from happening in this one instance.

@@michelleschultz472 ; I went to the Atlanta pop festival July 4/1970 over 400,000 of us showed up, about 40 groups played that weekend, when the Doors were gonna play I shuffled my way up front towards the stage, Hot Atlanta was burning with the heat and humidity it was 105 degrees, in the shade,for a time Genesis dubbed Atlanta Pop as the largest mass gathering of all time,until Abba played Central Park ! When The Doors came out Jim was wasted, Robby,Ray,and John were trying to get setup and some tuning Robby was angry,well they all were eventually, but while they were getting ready, Jim was at the front of the stage, taunting, the crowd, saying all kinds of crazy crap, He was really working the crowd up in a frenzy, Robby was trying to get his attention and to stop! Jim wasn’t having any of that, and with this heat hammering down on us, it didn’t take long for the crowd to become angry! And the crowd was really throwing it back to him They started playing and at first Jim didn’t pay them no mind, they stopped a couple of times and then got cranked back up, finally, Jim grabbed a mic and started trying to sing and he couldn’t remember his lines. He was even trying to sing two songs at the same time ! Robbie was really angry at this point and finally the three of them left Jim out front by himself, laying on the stage rolling around talking sh!t to everyone,this went on about another 15 minutes, and a couple of guys came from backstage and literally picked him up and kinda dragged him back behind the curtains ! By time they finally went out on stage to get him he was out he wasn’t talking no more he wasn’t cussing at everybody he was out, This was the time I almost got to see the doors ! The Allman Brothers were great, This was the second to last time that I got to see all of the original Allman Brothers band , but less than two months I went to The Love valley pop festival in North Carolina ! And that was the last time I got to see all of the original Allman Brothers band ! And at Atlanta Jimi Hendrix came out at 1:15 early Sunday morning and played till almost 3:am, that was the last time I ever got to see Hendrix , the first time I got to see him was in Charlotte. He opened up for the monkeys and all of those little children with their parents that came to see Davey and his band they booed and threw things on the stage at him , and run him off stage ! He unplugged his guitar threw the thing over his shoulder and opened up those heavy purple drapes that went backstage ,and he was gone a few minutes past he came back out guitar still resting on his back, he said FU Charlotte I’ll never ever play this town again and he kelp his word ! But dam he played Atlanta so dam good, it was dark and a little breeze had kicked up and it felt so good after a day of scorching heat and the sun beating us up ,It was just right for Jimi too and gosh, he put on a show ! And I think he was really letting Charlotte know what they had missed out on, Atlanta is only three hours from Charlotte, so he was close enough to kind of poke his finger in our eyes, for what those kids did to him ! I remember that after he stopped playing after all the very loud sounds he was running through the speakers, and that night breeze almost felt like we were at the beach, the stage was empty and that was for a moment the quietest 400,000 people I’ve ever heard ! Then everybody started screaming for him to come back out, and they played the banner for us and someone had lit fireworks and it was a red flare on a little parachute and that breeze carried it pretty good distance, right when he was making all the rockets and the bombs sounds it fit right with the banner being played ! Out of all the pop festivals I went to Atlanta #2 was the very best of them all !!
