I'm blown away and in AWE that Ice-T had Gilmore play on the video, let alone approve the song, along with Waters approving as well when these two normally don't let anyone touch their songs in anyway whatsoever or have been in agreement for many years. I don't generally listen to Rap, but I listened to this with David playing and the lyrics also blew me away. THEN I started watching all the videos associated with Body Count, man, This ( Merciless ) is a great album and it bitch-slaps you with the music and the lyrics. TRUTH.🎸🎤

I am a lifelong, extremely serious fan of all things Pink Floyd and David Gilmour. And this track is absolutely worthy to be included in the canon of his music. Seriously well done by all, lyrics, feel, message, all of it. Fucking outstanding.

Yes Gilmour great talent no doubt, but in the video, I’d like to have heard his guitar sound more in background so you could hear T’s words louder.
