This is the demolding of heart shaped basket. I showed in earlier video of seaming this up. The model was made of scrap foam from my workplace, cut and glued with sharp knife!! Added texture with sheetrock mud.

These two molds had huge full seams. Not bad, but I need to add more bolts and use fresh material.

Soap water tell me the mixture please
just add a few drops of dish soap to your water, just enough to make rubber slide.
Where can I find your molds for sale?
right now i dont have any for sale. trying to fix that. sorry
How much is the tiger cub mold
its used now, but only slightly, 175.00
absolutely gorgeous! wife and i just moved to the mountains after city life and its been amazing!!
Little River is right down the road. And yes to is sweet.
Iv been moulding for years I can say Iv never had a problem just put clay around the bottom no problem
yeap that works also.
Do you sell molds
Yes, sometimes, hope to start making more for sale, just part time right now.
How can i see the molds you have for sale and how much
i dont have any right now. my facebook with my concrete on it got hacked.
Off subject, but I believe your FaceBook page was hijacked. I reported it to FaceBook. Hope to see you back there soon.
yes my Frank Burkhalter and my concretecreations35 are gone!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
I've noticed that Facebook has taken down the person who hijacked your account. Now to see if they restore it. Have you heard anything yet?
I dont know. they kept telling me i was out forever on that old account. I started a new account yesterday. i will try and get all my contacts and groups back. Thank you for looking out!!!
Lookin good Frank!
Thank You!!!
Hey brother! How are you doing my friend. Happy Fall 🍁🍂🎃🔥
Trying too!!! Fat and lazy!😂😂
How do you make the designs for the mold?
Copy or make your own! Check out Mother, made from foam and gfrc. You can use clay.
🎉thank you so much !!
You're welcome!!
greeeat job! ive been working on some bigger models that need this and you set a great example!
Thank you! These little things help alot!
I was curious where do you get your plaster gauze from ? Does it come in that box or just rolls that you precut into the box? Do you use extra loose plaster?
Yes I use pacon plaster gauze about 75.00 for 20lbs box. 6 inches wide
what is that mother mold made of? I am looking for a material to mother molds out of that isnt fiberglass
I call it RPG ...plaster gauze polyester resin.
i can make big molds with this process, look for my big gnome, its RPG
That is amazing. It would take me a month to eat just one. I just planted some and one sprouted so far. I guess I will need to clear a spot in the freezer. Thanks
been watching your videos taking inspiration from you as im on a similar journey. i have a latex mold in a plaster bandage support shell, what is the green on the outside of the plaster? appreciate all the videos keep up the great work!
I added polyester resin with some green powder paint or its concretesealer with green acrylic paint, i cant remember for sure.
@@frankburkhalter291 thank you! think i have some of that bondo resin somewhere in the back for another project that i can use for the shell, thanks again!
@@phunkdoc3227 cool, let me know. There is a guy on here that did this and loved how it locked everything in. We all do different.
@@frankburkhalter291 will do, i tried to use fiberglass and the bondo stuff but it was more mess and headache than anything. using plaster gauze feels much easier to work with, but lookong for ways to add so strength to it between the concrete sealer vs the resin, which one do you feel has more strength?
@@phunkdoc3227 probably the resin, plus u can add stuff........sawdust, powders rock duzt etc
very cool. ill be growing some this year.
Its a year later and i have about 6 massive zuccas in the backyard. The vines grow like crazy.
This looks amazing dude
I watched a couple more times and I think I got it. I love how you come up with these ideas
I love your biscuits but what did you put behind the cardboard to fill the void?
It's hard to explain or see. It is basically hollow cardboard with plaster Gauze wrapped
I had to give up watching due to the camera movements caused by you looking into the pot of whatever you were painting onto the toilet roll.
I guess, it has been a minute.😜
Hi Frank - have you tried mixing GFRC with it? I was wondering how well it would mix? Thanks :-)
No have not but i think it would work, it kinda fols and stir mixes
@@frankburkhalter291 Thank you!
Do you find that a barrier such as shellac makes much of a difference?
Yes and no. Maybe on this one, Shelli and i both had terrible experences! Once bitten twice shy. Like playing with a snake.
very nice choice my friend Good luck and more success ==================
Thank you.
All due respect to your genius my friend More success and brilliance
Thank you, my genius friend!!!!
I don't know Sven I think the boss might have a few tricks up her sleeve !! Nice to hear both of your voices ,hope y'all are well !
Good to hear from you. Just told the boss you mentioned her, made her happy!😉😁
You might want to start a second "control" experiment to judge things by. I don't think you'll see much happen though. Rust is caused by the oxygenation (burning) of the iron. Oxygen can't access the iron that easily while under water. I'd try soaking for a day and then exposing to air, perhaps keeping it under a tarp so the moisture doesn't evaporate that much. Also, have one un-altered item for comparison so you can judge the progress.
i do have unalter pcs in this experiment. remember there is oxygen in h2o. plus i have added the redwood and iron.... so this may turn out more black than rust. i am in no hurry, 12/04/ 2022 and then exspose to air.
@@frankburkhalter291 There is.... But I've seen it on things like docks where the rusting will occur mainly on the waterline and not below - at least not initially. But what I'm really thinking is that the thin layer of cement on the surface layer of your concrete may actually be what's causing most of the rusting inhibition.
@@patglenn7762 yeah me too. It has been outside for about 2 months air and rain. I thought i needed to hit it with 200 grit sanding, but lets do less first.😁
@@frankburkhalter291 It might be too that it takes a while longer. Kind of like a copper roof which gets its patina over several years.
@@patglenn7762 yeah time will tell. I love not knowing, who knows when you might stumble on to something.
I'm so curious - were your zuccas not bitter? Ours were SO bitter! And we tried cooking them in every possible way but it was like trying to eat slimy bitter squid! Even the smell was terrible! Which was unexpected because the blossoms smelled good like melon and cucumber. How did you end up eating yours?
Just straight with salt. i also airfryed some with spray oil and salt. The texture was great and crisp better than cucumber, really no taste. i fryed some blooms and they where tougher than squash and okra blooms. I might of got lucky in picking at right time, it was fresh from the vine.
@@frankburkhalter291 How interesting! I do wonder why ours are so different! I mean even our small yuccas have a horrible smell! Thank you for your reply - I appreciate it!
curious where you bought your seed that these taste so bitter? may skip this one
I will have to look some heritage seed company. I hope the damn mice haven't eat all my seeds
Thanks for your video of the first day. Really fun class. Those guys put on the dog!
Cool , yeah they worked their butts off, lol
Watching
Cool!!
How well do they store once picked?
I got in the attic drying out. Not good for food stroge
I've read they're supposed to taste like zucchini and can be cooked up like them, too.
No real taste to them, texture is good better than cucumber
Well done Frank..Nice level of detail on the coat..those bugholes are easily filled in
Thank you!!! Those bug holes still suck.😂😂😂😂
@@frankburkhalter291 they can happen to a Bishop 😅😅

What’s a good rubber to use?
i want to kno too @@karenjones2655
Why not do a semi-hard foam insert for the center and then make the plaster support cast over the flat top?
i could and that would probably be the smart thing to do. i want to stay away from foam, may not can, but want to try.
So wonderful project good luck
Can't stop
Been mulling over the idea to take one of these courses for years. Is this their location in Pennsylvania? Thanks!
Yes, but i think they have other locations also. This is the main plant and it is awesome place.
Fascist book is totally asinine anyway. Honestly, I don't know why I even stay there. If it wasn't for the decorative concrete forum, I'd have been done a couple years ago.
yeah i agree.
