The first breakdown comes from an Instagram submission. Lake Allatoona is a spotted bass fishery in Georgia.
Thank you for these videos, I just started Kayak fishing in late August 2024 and I love it, what a huge learning curve. But these videos are priceless for me! I plan on fishing my 1st in-person kayak tournament on lake Texoma in about 4 months so this is an amazing teaching/research video for me. I still need to learn how to upload coordinates in my Garmin Echomao 93sv from I-boating website. You are really helping alot of people, I know this helping me. . . thanks again and I hope you had a good thanksgiving.
Would you fish the mouth of the pocket from the main lake with top water
Like end of April
Where would you fish in April
Thanks. I'm planning a vacation to Guntersville and this video is very helpful.
So end of Oct for Guntersville.... Leaving Hartwell and headed there for first time just to fish (no tournament) oct 21 - 27. Would love some ideas. Thanks!
I was able to catch 23.58 pounds and won my tournament thank to you man we came in first place and got 5k each for our high school fishing tournament on this lake
The Dead Sea!
the area you were talking about is the lodge, no launching ramp there.
Hey man i love the content but I grew up on this lake and it's kinda obvious you don't know exactly what your talking about. Lol "I really like this chunk rock when the water is up." Bro bring a surf board you gonna be fighting waves.
The chunk rock looks like it would hold fish on this lake and a guy in the comments below mentioned catching some off of it. No go on those spots?
Going to fishing the northern spot tomorrow I’ll let you know how it turns out
I catch a ton of crappie on lake allatoona.
What about sea bolt creek
You think with all the new technology and extreme pressure that's going right now in...EVERY lake now. Why is everyone spilling the juice. You think all this shit isn't going to do anything to the fish?? Does everyone want to fish shitty lakes now? I'm really confused. Mark my words all this will be devastating to our fisheries. Keep it up boys!! Way to help kill the sport
I get your point to an extent, it will make them tougher to fish for sure… but the guys who are good at finding fish are still going to find fish. Bad fisheries don’t necessarily kill the sport, Indiana is a prime example , our fishing is absolutely awful compared to surrounding states, but last I had heard we have the largest Bass Federation membership in the nation. It will certainly make the fishing tougher… I get that point.
I haven't fished Allatoona in a while, but there wasn't any grass on it when I fished it. Its a deep, clear mountain type lake. Most of the arms of the lake are tunnel banked and deep. There are largemouth in the upper end of the lake, but the area you were looking at is just about all spots.
How much time have you spent fishing on Texoma?
Can you do one for Wheeler lake? It's next to Guntersville.
I’ll try to knock it out next!
I live on Lake Allatoona. Good analysis! I actually have a RUclips Video showing me catching fish off the rock piles at 4:40 minute mark and the 6:20 mark. The cove you chose does not actually have a ramp but it has docks that are for people to use and go to the main lake lodge. It is a great fishing cove as you have surmised. Thumbs up.
To bad the water is never that high. Catfish bay gets fished out by 10. Grass in this lake is not a thing. Best bet for smallies is find clear water and rocks. Chartreuse anything is the key color for smallies. A lot of mixed bags have been winning the tournaments down here on texoma. Lmk if that helped.
What about largies?
Cool video
