Wicked!!❤
Great harmonies!!! Flawless performance
Hey, the original Gordon Peterson can’t be topped. But this version is a good one.
This is good, but Indio’s original is the best with Joni Mitchell doing backing vocals
Brilliant cover, really enjoyed this.
great cover for sure almost sounds better than the original
It's not an Eddie Vedder song; you should credit the original artist.
Gord Downie is one of the greatest poets ever. His lyrics often bring a tear to my eye.
Damn, this is good as the original song
Please, please, PLEASE. Get rid of the Eddie Vedder bit. He is NOT the original guy to do this amazing tune. Give credit where credit is due ... INDIO is *the* man for this one! And, speaking of credit, you do a really good cover! Cheers!
Exceptional performance!
Nice! 👍
Eddie Vedder? This is a Great version. Its alot like the original Indio, not Vedder. Vedders version is grandiose and good, but the original is much better IMO. This version sounds much more like the original while still being fresh. Good job. The Vedder version is borderline cringe for me. I thing alot of people would like the original version better then the Eddie Vedder version. But its not well known. Also IMO, the song All my days by Alexi Murdoch would have been Head and shoulders better for that move(Into the wild).
That was truly great!..love this song excellent version! Love it loud..Love it soft just as much!..Thank You..Amazing!
Got to give you the big thumbs down. How can you not know who actually wrote this song? My guess is that you knew you would get more clicks if you attached Vetters high profile name, instead of crediting the original artist. Shameful. I'm sure you know your mistake by now and you still haven't changed the title of your video. As an amateur songwriter, that disgusts me. Eddie Vedder was sued for covering the song without asking Gordon Peterson for permission to record it. Yes, Vedder got permission from the record company that put it out, but not from the artist. The record company ended up settling with the artist. This song is a staple in Eddie Vedder's live set, but I have yet to see a video of him acknowledging that Gordon Peterson actually wrote the song when he performs it. There are millions of people that love this song that think Eddie Vedder wrote it. He essentially stole it by not giving credit to the artist who actually created it. As far as Vedder's version, it is a lazy near-cover. He adds nothing new. His version is weak cover compared to the original cut by Peterson. It only sounds as good as it does because Peterson song is that great. Insult injury, as good as Pearl Jam's early records were, the Indio album by Gordon Peterson is an absolute masterpiece. It's in my top 10. Go ahead and listen to it and tell me it's not better than anything Pearl Jam ever did. So what's next, your renditions of Hendrix's originals, Hey Joe and All Along The Watch Tower? Or The Beatles' original song Twist And Shout? ;)
OutfuckingStanding. Love it guys
Dude sounds so much like Jerry, love this cover
that. was. fantastic.
👍
amazing
Don't normally do covers but this is a banger 💥🤘🍀
it’s not Eddie Vedder song It is Gord Peterson song.. why don’t you give credit to The guy who wrote, and originally performed heysong
Correct. People just need to do their homework that’s all. It’s just a cover song. Eddie Vedder does it pretty decent and so does these guys. But Gord Peterson hats off, buddy!
Great harmonies 😌
Really well done...really clean and solid playing...a lot of people don't know how hard it is to actually stay in time and play clean even in a relatively simply song to play. Timing is everything. so many players have a tendency to speed up...I know I do and I have to really work at it...thus lots of metronome time. And great vocals.
good job guys great cover
Solid vocals... great cover guys! 👍👍👍
This is excellent guys!
Fantastic cover!
Whoa😮😮😮...speechless .. fucking utube now showing me this gem
“Local skinwalker outs himself by covering One Week with no errors”
Best cover of this song I’ve ever heard
Very well done love it.
Bom trabalho!
You should studio record and post your covers
LYRICS❤ Sundown in the Paris of the prairies Wheat kings have all their treasures buried And all you hear are the rusty breezes Pushing around the weathervane Jesus His Zippo lighter, he sees the killer's face Maybe it's someone standing in a killer's place Twenty years for nothing, well, that's nothing new Besides, no one's interested in something you didn't do Wheat kings and pretty things Let's just see what the morning brings There's a dream he dreams where the high school's dead and stark It's a museum and we're all locked up in it after dark The walls are lined all yellow, grey and sinister Hung with pictures of our parents' prime ministers Wheat kings and pretty things Wait and see what tomorrow brings Late breaking story on the CBC A nation whispers, "We always knew that he'd go free" They add, "You can't be fond of living in the past 'Cause if you are, then there's no way that you're gonna last" Wheat kings and pretty things Let's just see what tomorrow brings Wheat kings and pretty things Oh, that's what tomorrow brings
Awesome cover just with you 2 guys !
this song is like ballroom blitz. no one can seem to get the drums exactly right.
After finding this song several years ago, I came back again and must have watched it 5 times on repeat! This is an insanely good cover. Second only to Layne and Jerry. I'm not sure how it hasn't got more views and shares. Massively underrated! I hope you are still making great music and following your passion.
Ok, you guys are my favorite cover band now. I started watching your Pearl Jam covers. This topped the cake.
Wow
BRAVIIIII...
WONDERFUL...
Wow. Very nice.
Well done gents 🤏🎩
Brilliant cover only one issue. The vocals are in the wrong tone. Forgive them but you can't copy the master Eddie
The "master Eddie" exactly copied Gordon Peterson's voice/tone/style in his almost exact copy of Indio's original masterpiece. So who is "master"?
Awesome cover
Outstanding Gentleman !
Come back to rose and crown in Banff!
wow!! great job!!
