My Captain, My Captain... You must have been ready for the (discrimination) pot to boil over but I didn't know it would explode into what I am seeing today. You nailed it as it is and named it with the history lesson that has repeated itself again and again right under our noses. Race, gender, education injustice and all the rest contribute to the overall economic bias we have today had been hidden far too long. It is only now that we can see and identify what has been right in front of us all along. Inequality has ran rampant and taken over much if not all aspects of our lives. Barriers in the schools that are supposed to teach us have made it hard for me thus far but what I have learned from you has given me hope. You teach more than just math you explain how some people put two and two together and gave a name to some of the players. You really helped us see the value for what it is and what it is not. Priceless. Keep up the good works and thank you for all that you do and have done. Stay especially safe and let us see what hat you are doing now. You Rock!

Hi Heather: For 4.5 standard deviations away from mean, how to find the chance of occurrence? The answer is 6.8 out 1 million for two tails. Thanks for your reply Best Regards Given: Lower Specification limit = 97 mm Higher specification limit = 103 mm I want chance of an event happening out of the the boundary to be, 2 out of a billion, This means 103 mm & 97 mm are 6 standard deviation away from the mean, μ=100 mm. This means σ = 0.5 mm Because (100-97)/ 6 = 0.5 mm
