Or do you mean per track? Any effect on MPC is per track. But you can automate it on and off per sequence.

@@remyvegamedia it works 🤯🤯🤯 wtf? I was trying for 3 hours on a beat that I made last night and tried this morning and it didn’t work . Now after I read your reply I just powered on my mpc and threw together a lil 2 bar sequence just to test and it worked .

@ Yeah man! At first I was getting some weird behaviors but you might just have to edit the automation or setting on Flex Beat between the loop, one shot, and hold. I did it as hold and it worked.

Hmmm that’s weird I’d have to really be there to know what you’re talking about but I think it’s because you need to make sure you’re recording it as automation and then stop the automation when your done so it doesn’t go to the next track

@@Soulstice_Beats I end on the last bar in the sequence. When I switch to the next sequence, the automation does not stop. When I press stop on the track where the automation was recorded, it does not stop. Do you leave space between the automation and the end of the sequence? Or do you record the automation until the end of the sequence?

@@ve4nyI’m also having that happen. I know that also happens if a sample isnt chopped short enough and it’ll bleed into the next sequence but that’s a very simple fix: just adjust the sample end point or add a muted pad at the end. However, I have no idea how to figure it out with xyfx though😅

Try messing around with the automation and automating the effect back down to zero before the next sequence starts . Let me know if that helps brother it’s been awhile since I’ve done this video so i don’t remember exactly

Hmmm ok . In what way do you mean ? Like connecting the Mpc live 2 and sp 404 mk ii to the mixer or using the mixer to be able to hear how you can record your beats from the Mpc live onto the sp ?

Here’s what you can do bro it’s not possible on the Mpc live but you can duplicate the 3 bars then cut off the bars until you have 4

Logic has an option to drag. A sample to nearest even bar .. example 3.3 bar can be pulled and stretch to the fourth bar …
