I've been doing a deathmarch run (hardest difficulty) and it's so satisfying when you get a contract done. You should really give it a go
Looked it up, this is the context: Okay, so bad dude is cursed with lycanthropy (he's a werewolf) and can't die. Asks you to free him. Two ways to do it: questline, turn him human again (then kill him if you want). Second option: feed him his own meat and that violates parameters of curse which kills him.
“Lifted” him into the afterlife 😅

This was one of my favorite side quests! The Hym was such a unique monster feeding on the despair and guilt of its possesed host.

We actually never get full confirmation, only Jad Karadins word. Lambert was too blinded by rage to take anything karadin was saying to be true and you can either end up leaving him alone or killing him to help lambert.
