Upravil som, ale nie zlý nápad na jazdu - okolo Vysokých aj Nízkych Tatier

Ja už o tom rozmýšľam 2 roky. Ale nie komplet Nízke Tatry ale iba časť (Čertovica-Vernár). Lebo VT s komplet NT by už malo dohromady skoro 350km - ak rátame celé Nízke Tatry od Donovalov po Vernár. A to už je na bicykel fakt zbytočne moc. Nehovorím že sa to nedá ale je to veľa.

Lubricate it. After it gets stuck, help it, let it go along the entire screw box several times. The grease should get evenly everywhere. It should help.

@@stanislavpjatak i lubricated it. Ran it many Times up and down. No success. I logged a ticket with Elite. The step motor runs rather harshly. :-(. Thank you for great video and your answer to my question.

@@stanislavpjatak the fix was to replace the motherboard. I believe, no I am certain, that the motherboard had a design fault. The only difference between the original (faulty) motherboard was a new capacitor. It makes sense that the old capacitor was not strong enough to give enough power to the stepper motor. And should this be the case the factory should replace it as a "Service recall" and not get the users (who ran out of warranty) to pay for the replacement. 90 Euro for the motherboard plus shipping. If you read all the forums the first thing that the support service person does is to send a new board and then they suggest to clean AND lubricate the screw shaft. Vary poor on their behalf.

The problem with me was that the pinion was loose, that's why it was making a sound. If you can't get it down, it probably won't be loose and it shouldn't rattle, so I don't understand what the problem is.

I know from my own experience that if a problem arises, the repair should not be postponed. Then it happens that the repair is more demanding. In this case, it could happen that the shaft motor breaks down.

Hi, I have been using the trainer intensively (200 hours/year) for about 3 years. Apart from the glitches I have in the videos, which I knew how to fix myself, it works reliably. The chain makes the most noise during use.

Never mind- performed the cleaning and lubrication and now the magnet is moving smoothly! Thanks for posting!!! Note: I only removed the 4 screws from the cover directly above the power board- didn’t remove anything else. I was able to clean and lube from this access.

I think nothing will happen. Disc braking is by means of magnets. If it isn't plugged in, it won't resist and nothing should happen.

Tak trochu som bol k oprave donútený. Hneď po kúpe robil trenažér mierny hluk. Chcel som to vyriešiť cez reklamáciu, výmenou za nový kus. Nedalo sa to takto urobiť. Trenažér som mal poslať a čakať ako to dopadne. Či mi ho vrátia opravený, alebo pošlú peniaze. To pre mňa znamenalo byť týždne bez trenažéra. Tak som to nechal tak a jazdil. Hluk sa však postupne zvyšoval. Začal som to riešiť s talianmi s Elite. Posielal som in videá, oni mne rady v čom by asi mohla byť chyba. Poslali mi orech na výmenu, upravoval som nastavenie magnetov... Nakoniec som chybu odhalil. Napísali mi že to mám prilepiť. Takže neviem ako by to bolo so zárukou, keďže oprava prebehla so súhlasom výrobcu. Rozmýšľal som aj nad výmenu pera, no nešlo vybrať z hriadele, poškodená bola aj drážka v pastorku. Tak som sa rozhodol pre lepenie.

@@stanislavpjatak Vypadá to, že pánové v Elite nemají technické vzdělání. Zapomněli na možnou výměnu ložisek na této hřídeli. Četl jsem o velmi malé životnosti těchto ložisek. Chtěl sem teď koupit Direto XR, ale asi zkusím jiného výrobce. Když jste komunikoval s centrálou Elite, kam jste měl odeslat Direto na servis? Do Itálie nebo prodejci na Slovensku?

Trenažér používam intenzívne (300 hod/rok) 3 roky a ložiska zatiaľ v poriadku. Reklamáciu som komunikoval s predajcom na Slovensku. Mal som to poslať im a ani by to následne poslali do Talianska. S technickým oddelením Elite som iba riešil možné príčiny hlučnosti.
