Person 3 is wearing a blue hat. Person 1 said he didn't know, and if Person 2 and 3 both had red hats then Person 1 would know, so we know at least one of the two have a blue hat. Person 2 knows this, and if she saw that person 3 had a red hat then she would know her hat is blue, but she didn't know, meaning person 3 had a blue hat.

Theres no way of knowing what hats person 1 and 2 have, but we know person 3 has a blue hat which is the answer
If the first 2 people see all 3 hats in the dark room and they all look the same shade wouldn't all of them be the same?
@@vikiw124 the point is it is so dark they cant see the hats at all when they get thwm
You dont know how dark it is. If it is dark but light enough just to see the others in the room, which you can see in the video, the 2 people who see can see the hat but cant see the colour know their hats are the same colour because if any of the 3 had a red hat they would see the difference in how dark the hat is. You don't know how dark the room was so we both could be right, if there were more detail in the video like how dark the room was we would know 100% who is correct.

Since the first person didnt know his color hat, that means that the other peoples hat cant both be red, as then he would know his would be blue. The 2nd person also sees the exact same thing, knowing that the other 2 people cant both have red hats. This means that if the 3rd person wore a red hat, then they both would see atleast 1 red hat each, so they could either have a red or blue hat, which means they might know. But if the 3rd person wore a blue, they would truly have no clue on what color hat they are wearing. I have no idea if this is even close to the answer or not.
Yeah thats basically it, person 2 knows that either she or person 3 has a blue hat so if person 3 had a red hat she would know hers is blue but she doesnt know because person 3 has a blue hat

Good quiz but just the answers please, it just goes on too long
30/50 - Eh, not a complete shit show I suppose... Was surprised how few subs you have, this was pretty decent! Nice mix of subjects. I'll be honest I was hitting fast forward quite a bit though. Time limit was a bit long, they're all the sort of question where you either know it or you don't, rather than needing some time to work something out, although it might be more useful if you're in a group.

Burn one rope from both ends. At the same time light one end of the other rope. When the first rope burns out light the other end. When that too burns out 45 minutes have passed. The rope burns unevenly but if we light it from both ends it'll burn in 30 mins.

It's probably more obvious than this, but it's all I could think of. Cut both ropes into 8 equal pieces. Pair up four full burn with four not full burn to make four pairs. Light the first pair and when the full burn length finishes burning slide the not full burned over to the next pair. Then do the same thing, sliding the unfully burned over to light the third pair. When the third fully burn length is burned up it's 45 minutes.
