you can do all this on every pre trip, but a lot can happen during a trip, such as a brake pad cracking, nail in tire, airline getting a air leak ect. Basically, its bullshit that they ding you for little things that arent life and death but merely something that could've happened in route and need to get fixed. amd if you still arent convinced its a scam, its illegal to stop before a weigh station to check your truck, yep thats right. The best way to avoid an inspection at a weigh station, where they have ALL the equipment to thoroughly go over your rig, is to go around the flipping scale. I went from Shitcago to El Pisso, and didn't get inspected once. Know why? I avoided every damn scale on the way. In general, you can't dodge all of them, but the ones you can, you should. They are out to make money off your hillbilly ass, so don't help them by going through their shithouses.
