Chubby Knot Bows Tutorial: Sewing Machine & Serger | Easy Beginner Sewing Project | Cute Baby Bows
Chubby Knot Bows are the easiest bows I know how to make and they're so cute for little pigtail buns and other hairstyles. They're quick to make on both the sewing machine and serger, and a very beginner friendly sewing project. I've made tons for my daughter already. I hope you find this tutorial helpful! (:

How to Sew A Quilted Book Sleeve | Bow Bag Tutorial | Easy Gift Idea to Sew for Bookworms
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.Месяц назад
I am SO excited to share this tutorial with you guys! This has been one of my favorite projects I've made this year! The velvety knit fabric was especially challenging for me to work with, but it was so worth the extra time and effort in the end. The velvet is so smooth, making it easy to slide books in and out of the sleeve. 📌 Website Tutorial: acozygh0st.wixsite.com/acozyghost/post/how-to-sew...

This is one of the first projects I learned to make when I started sewing. I made a whole set for a friend of mine, and just recently realized I never made any for my own home. So I decided to choose my fabrics and ask my family members to choose the ones they wanted as well. Now we each have our own bowl cozies to enjoy during soup season. I especially love these for hot bowls of ramen. Thank ...

    Everything should be 100% cotton or it will melt in the microwave.

      Thanks! I don't use mine in the microwave, but that's a good note for me to add for those who plan to.

    Can I ask what seam allowance you are using when you sew around the entire square? You’re not stitching into the batting?

    • @acozyghost
      @acozyghost Месяц назад

      @@lauriemarks6634 Oh, I forgot to include it! The first time around, I used 1/4 inch seam allowance and it didn’t catch any batting. The final time for the top stitch, I used 1/8 inch seam allowance. I don’t think i caught any batting that time either, but i may have… can’t tell either way.
