I used 4TheWords for the longest time, and still do on occasion! It's definitely a good writers' tool. Campfire is also helpful, but I don't like it as much - most of my writing motivation comes purely from the want to get published 😂 and a little bit of peer pressure from people who are waiting to read it. Sprints help me get zoned in because of my competitive spirit, but they don't always work for everyone.

Perfect is the enemy of good. I think you are bravely facing the uncertainty. Do it anyway. Even if it flops just do it to do it. Process goals are where your creative control is. Good luck and wishing you a good response!

Your systematic approach to feedback is really, really good. And that feeling of being attacked by feedback is a whole mood - there's not much to be done for it but to walk through it and come out the other side and give the feedback the attention it needs. At least, for me, anyway. I think your approach to feedback is going to give you a great final product, though. You're putting in the hard work, and you are running tests of the study you wrote, which is a step a product like yours very much needs.

Those copies were less expensive than I expected, which is kinda awesome. I'm glad you were able to get them so cheap and easily.

Copyright is a complex sort of thing. I will tell you that in Texas, the contracts you had them sign do have *some* legally binding elements to them, but in terms of covering your bases and making sure you are protected, it's a damn smart thing to do.

I love the way you are treating feedback in such a serious way. A lot of us don't do that, especially our first time around. I had some great mentors, and I have (a few) people I can lean on for feedback, but I haven't really had the chance to figure out what my feedback team would look like. I'm also impressed you have all three categories there. Being from the fanfiction world, I am very familiar with Alpha and Beta readers, but I'm curious as to the requirements and specifications you've set up for each one of your categories. I've been an ARC reader before, so I know what's up there! You also said this was a Bible study for writers. I'm a bit curious about that - is it just for writing, or is it for creative work in general?

That's an interesting approach for alpha readers. I haven't heard of anyone else doing that, and I kinda like it. I really *do* like the way you are putting your resources into your book. I might steal the idea of 'book announcements' when I finally get something published! What site did you use?

Awesome intro video! I'm glad NaNo was helpful in getting you started on the path. And I hope Pro Writing Aid was worth the money; I have heard mixed reviews of it.
